사도행전6장 말씀입니다.

[바이블 애플] KJV 흠정역 사도행전6장

1. 그 무렵에 제자들의 수가 크게 늘어났는데 그리스말 하는 사람들이 자기들의 과부들이 날마다 주는 배급에서 빠지므로

    히브리 사람들에게 불평을 터뜨리니라.

And in those days, when the number of the disciples was multiplied, there arose a murmuring of the Grecians against the Hebrews, because their widows were neglected in the daily ministration.

2. 이에 열두 사도가 제자들의 무리를 자기들에게 불러 이르되, 우리가 [하나님]의 말씀을 버려두고 상을 섬기는 것은

    합당치 아니하니

Then the twelve called the multitude of the disciples [unto them], and said, It is not reason that we should leave the word of God, and serve tables.

3. 그러므로 형제들아, 너희는 너희 가운데서 정직하다는 평판이 있고 [성령]님과 지혜가 충만한 사람 일곱을 찾아내라.

    우리가 이 일을 그들에게 맡기고

Wherefore, brethren, look ye out among you seven men of honest report, full of the Holy Ghost and wisdom, whom we may appoint over this business.

4. 오직 우리는 계속해서 기도와 말씀 사역에 전념하리라, 하니라.

But we will give ourselves continually to prayer, and to the ministry of the word.

5. 온 무리가 이 말을 기쁘게 여기고 믿음과 [성령]님이 충만한 사람 스데반과 빌립과 브로고로와 니가노르와 디몬과

    바메나와 안디옥 출신의 유대교 개종자 니골라를 택하여

And the saying pleased the whole multitude: and they chose Stephen, a man full of faith and of the Holy Ghost, and Philip, and Prochorus, and Nicanor, and Timon, and Parmenas, and Nicolas a proselyte of Antioch:

6. 사도들 앞에 세우니 사도들이 기도하고 그들에게 안수하니라.

Whom they set before the apostles: and when they had prayed, they laid [their] hands on them.

7. [하나님]의 말씀이 자라나서 예루살렘에서 제자들의 수가 크게 늘어나고 제사장들의 큰 무리도 믿음에 순종하니라.

And the word of God increased; and the number of the disciples multiplied in Jerusalem greatly; and a great company of the priests were obedient to the faith.

8. 스데반이 믿음과 권능이 충만하여 백성 가운데서 큰 이적들과 기적들을 행하니라.

And Stephen, full of faith and power, did great wonders and miracles among the people.

9. 그때에 리베르티 사람과 구레네 사람과 알렉산드리아 사람과 길리기아와 아시아에서 온 자들의 회당이라 하는

    회당에서 어떤 자들이 일어나 스데반과 논쟁을 벌였으나

Then there arose certain of the synagogue, which is called [the synagogue] of the Libertines, and Cyrenians, and Alexandrians, and of them of Cilicia and of Asia, disputing with Stephen.

10. 스데반이 말할 때 사용하는 지혜와 영을 그들이 능히 대적하지 못하더라.

And they were not able to resist the wisdom and the spirit by which he spake.

11. 이에 그들이 사람들을 매수하매 이들이 이르되, 그가 모세와 [하나님]을 대적하여 모독하는 말 하는 것을 우리가

      들었노라, 하니라.

Then they suborned men, which said, We have heard him speak blasphemous words against Moses, and [against] God.

12. 또 그들이 백성과 장로들과 서기관들을 선동하며 그에게로 다가가 그를 잡아서 공회로 데려오고

And they stirred up the people, and the elders, and the scribes, and came upon [him], and caught him, and brought [him] to the council,

13. 거짓 증인들을 세우니 그들이 이르되, 이 사람이 이 거룩한 곳과 율법을 대적하여 신성모독하는 말 하는 것을 그치지

      아니하는도다.

And set up false witnesses, which said, This man ceaseth not to speak blasphemous words against this holy place, and the law:

14. 그가 말하기를, 이 나사렛 예수가 이곳을 헐고 또 모세가 우리에게 전하여 준 관례들을 고치리라, 함을 우리가

      들었노라, 하니라.

For we have heard him say, that this Jesus of Nazareth shall destroy this place, and shall change the customs which Moses delivered us. 

15. 공회 안에 앉은 모든 사람이 똑바로 그를 바라보며 그의 얼굴이 마치 천사의 얼굴과 같음을 보았더라.

And all that sat in the council, looking stedfastly on him, saw his face as it had been the face of an angel.
