20260828 만남 Encounter

오늘 야외시장 침사역 중 한 환자가 자신이 맞은 침자리에 대해서 묻는다.

좀 귀동냥을 한 눈치다.

알고 보니 나바호에서 주관하는 한의학 프로그램의 학생이다.

아직 정확한 상황을 파악한 것은 아니지만 나바호에 그런 부서에서 그런 활동을 하고 있다는 것을 알게 된 것이다.

그리고 9월 12일(토)에는 이곳에서 70마일 떨어진 카옌타에서 대민진료사업이 있다는 얘기도 듣게 되었다.

가능한 한 좀 더 자세한 내용을 알기 위해서라도 참석할 예정이다.

만남이 흔치 않은 곳이다 보니 이곳에서의 만남은 많은 흥미를 갖게 만든다.

그리고 그 흥미보다 더 많은 상상이 내 머리를 광야만큼 더 넓게 만들곤 한다.

헉헉~~!! 광야를 뛰다보니 숨이...

Today, one of the patients at the outdoor market acupuncture ministry asked about the acupuncture point which she had.

It seems like she has a little eavesdropping.

It turned out that she was a student in a traditional oriental medicine program organized by a Navajo tribal agency.

Although I have not yet fully grasped the exact situation, I have learned that such a department is conducting such activities in Navajo.

And I also heard that on Saturday, September 12, there would be a public oriental medicine service project in Kayenta, 70 miles away.

I plan to attend, at least to lfind as many details as possible.

Since meetings are rare here, encounters at this place are very intriguing.

And more imagination than that fascination often makes my mind as vast as the wilderness.
