정 대표는 1일 오후 국회에서 오 후보를 만나 "오 후보는 경북지사에 이번까지 3번 도전하고, 국회의원에 4번 출마해 떨어졌다"며 "낙선하고 다시 일어서는 것이 어려운데, 6전 7기의 도전 정신으로 다시 출전한다"고 말했다.
