20260917 연례 법인체 신고 완료 Annual Reports Done

우리는 아리조나에 Christian Life Ministry와 First People Youth Academy 두 법인체가 있다.

해마다 한 번씩, 법인체 설립일(10월과 11월)에 즈음하여 아리조나에 법인체의 정체와 정보, 이사 목록 등에 관해 연례 신고를 해야 한다.

법인체 관리에 가장 기초적인 업무지만 업무처리 방식이 거의 해마다 바뀌어 난처함을 경험하곤 한다.

특히 이번에는 신상에 관해 신분증(운전면허 앞뒷면)과 안면인증사진까지 올려서 본인을 확인하는 절차가 새로 생겼다.

일상적인 사역보다 주나 국세청을 상대하는 일은 매우 번거롭지만 피할 수 없는 일이라 단체의 신분을 지키기 위해서는 불편함과 귀찮음을 감수한다.

한동안 제대로 된 인터넷 연결이 없을 땐 연결을 구걸하는 등, 어려움이 많았지만 지금은 제대로 된 연결망이 있으니 옛생각 하면 감사할 뿐이다.

일단 내년 이맘때까지는 한숨 놓는다.

We have two non profit entities in Arizona: the Christian Life Ministry and the First People Youth Academy.

Once a year, around the date of incorporation (October and November), an annual filing is required in Arizona regarding the entity’s status, information, and list of directors.

Although it is the most basic task in managing a corporation, the way tasks are handled changes almost every year, which can be frustrating.

In particular, a new verification process has been introduced requiring the submission of an ID (front and back of a driver's license) and a facial recognition photo for this year.

Dealing with the state or the IRS is much more cumbersome than routine ministry, but it is unavoidable, so we endure the inconvenience and hassle to protect the organization's identity.

For a while, there were many difficulties, such as begging for a proper internet connection due to lack of connection, but now that I have a solid internet connection, I can only feel grateful when I think back to those days.

For now, I’ll just relax until around this time next year.
