The International School of Penang (Uplands) — Year 7 MYP Interdisciplinary Unit Launch

Today, our Year 7 students launched a Maths and Science IDU, collecting data through exciting Mentos and soda experiments. The data collected through a simple science experiment will be analysed in Maths, as students gain an understanding of how the two disciplines can work together.

Over the next few weeks, students will be building up to a Year 7 Science Fair (May 15th), where they will showcase their integrated learning.

오늘 7학년 학생들은 흥미로운 멘토와 탄산음료 실험을 통해 데이터를 수집하는 수학 및 과학 IDU를 시작했습니다. 간단한 과학 실험을 통해 수집된 데이터는 학생들이 두 분야가 어떻게 협력할 수 있는지 이해하게 되면서 수학으로 분석될 것입니다.
앞으로 몇 주 동안 학생들은 통합 학습을 선보일 7년차 과학 박람회(5월 15일)를 개최할 예정입니다.
