Spiritual awakening that we must do in this age (1 Peter 4: 7-11)
1Pt 4:7-11 The end of all things is near. Therefore be clear minded and self-controlled so that you can pray. 8) Above all, love each other deeply, because love covers over a multitude of sins. 9) Offer hospitality to one another without grumbling. 10) Each one should use whatever gift he has received to serve others, faithfully administering God's grace in its various forms. 11) If anyone speaks, he should do it as one speaking the very words of God. If anyone serves, he should do it with the strength God provides, so that in all things God may be praised through Jesus Christ. To him be the glory and the power for ever and ever. Amen.
Today’s title of the preach is “The Spiritual Awakening We Must Do in this Age”.
Many people call these days the last age. In other words, it is called the end times.
Nowadays, the Wuhan virus from China spreads to the world and drives the world into fear of death.
Because of this, the world's economy is all-stop, so we have a heavy heart.
The International Doctors Association point out that "everything is fault of an initial response".
They said, "take the crisis seriously and control the door of the country, otherwise you will reach a situation beyond your control."
Countries with a good initial response tend to have fewer confirmed cases, but countries that didn’t responded to the initial response are experiencing a significant number of deaf and fatalities.
In the Philippines, there are fewer confirmed cases are reported, but if the test is conducted nationwide, more will be found.
However, all these are spiritual warfare in the eyes of the Holy Spirit.
In the last days, it will be a fierce spiritual battleground, whether it is heaven or hell, to live or to die.
The last days is a very difficult time to keep faith.
So the Lord said, "Will I see faith when I come?"
Our current environment may be difficult with the physical body, or it may seem peaceful and safe.
But spiritually, it's a time of great unimaginable temptation to get us into the pit of destruction.
Apostle Peter gave us precious verse for this days which is today's text.
Then, what is the spiritual awakening that we must do in this age?
1. The spiritual awakening that we must do in this age is to wake up and pray.
1Pt 4:7 The end of all things is near. Therefore be clear minded and self-controlled so that you can pray.
Why did it tell us to stay awake? And why did it tell us to pray?
That's because you can't come to yourself and you can't win the test without praying.
The techniques are so sophisticated that they have no choice but to go beyond without the spiritual gift.
If the frog is put in hot water, it will run out.
However, if you add a frog and gradually increase the temperature, the frog will adapt to the temperature, endure it, and eventually die.
Likewise, many people these days live secularly without knowing they are adopting to the world.
They compromise with the world and live by applying faith as secular faith.
Some are falling into the midst of a deep examination into political ideology.
It was time when Jerusalem was collaped.
God's servants foretold. 'everyone, the crisis is coming. Please avoid. '
However, people laughed and died without avoiding the crisis.
It is the same as in the old days and now.
Pareho lamang ang noon at ang ngayon.
God's servants foretells, but people laugh and do not escape when a crisis strikes.
It is because they are dyed in the world and did not awaken spiritually.
So Luke 17: 26-30 says.
Sa Lucas 17:26-30 sinasabi.
(Lk 17:26-30) "Just as it was in the days of Noah, so also will it be in the days of the Son of Man. 27) People were eating, drinking, marrying and being given in marriage up to the day Noah entered the ark. Then the flood came and destroyed them all. 28) "It was the same in the days of Lot. People were eating and drinking, buying and selling, planting and building. 29) But the day Lot left Sodom, fire and sulfur rained down from heaven and destroyed them all. 30) "It will be just like this on the day the Son of Man is revealed.
I think this era is more degenerate and secular than the Noah era.
There have been crime of indecency in any age.
Noah's Sodom period is a period in which obscene has become commonplace and is not ashamed.

The collapse in Jerusalem was due to the actions of the false prophets, only shouting for peace as well as the sin of the Israelites.
However, the true awakened servants of the God warned and avoided the coming future.

So please be alert and pray.
Mangyaring maging alerto at manalangin.
2. The spiritual awakening that we must do in this age is to love.
1 Peter 4: 8 says:
Sa 1 Pedro 4: 8 sinasabi.
1Pt 4:8 Above all, love each other deeply, because love covers over a multitude of sins.
What is most needed for Christians in the church in this era? It is love.
There are times when Christians slander one another without love and do not come to church because of a fight.
Envy, slander, and fight are shortcuts to the collapse of the soul.
But there is a solution to this, it is love.
Why is that? Because love covers many sins.
Brothers and Sisters, is there any haters in the church? Open your mind and love him.
Forgive him with love and cover his faults. Then his soul will go well.
If you forgive him, your soul will be freed from the bonds and chains and enjoy the peace and joy of the Lord.
Matthew 24: 10-12 says.
Sa Mateo 24:10-12 sinasabi.
(Mt 24:10-12) At that time many will turn away from the faith and will betray and hate each other, 11) and many false prophets will appear and deceive many people. 12) Because of the increase of wickedness, the love of most will grow cold,
This era is called the end-time era.
Itong panahon ay tinatawag na wakas.
During the apocalyptic era, people often become dissatisfied with love in the church.
They accuse and hate each other.
Nag aakusahan sila at galit sa isat isa.
But the Bible says this is illegal. It is an act contrary to the principles of the Bible.
Nowadays, some Christians are struggling with small things and trying to cover up their disputes in court.
It is the act that rejecting God's blessings and blessings of peace.
If you forgive and love him, your soul will be freed from bonds and chains.
And you will win spiritual principles and enjoy the true peace and joy the Lord gives.
So, Peter said, "Love, but love to cover."
Kaya, sinabi ni Pedro, “ Pag ibig, ngunit pag ibig upang masakop”
That's because the last days is make public and expose.
Have eyes of love. Do not learn poorly and condemn with the eyes of the law.
Our Lord taught us through the Lord's Prayer, “Forgive our sins as we have forgiven our sins.”
Dear brothers and sisters, criticism without love creates another criticism.
The wound creates a wound, and the wound reproduces another one.
As the world gets worse, don't make a sad relationship with anyone.
When someone frame others to live, the arrow becomes a boomerang and returns to him.
But those who have always loved it become his character.
And when he is in trouble, there must be people who help him.
Therefore, love is the wisdom to live the world, the wisdom to live in the last days, and a shortcut to my soul to be good.
3. The spiritual awakening that we must do in this age is to be more wise.
1Pt 4:9 Offer hospitality to one another without grumbling.

Suddenly, as the church grew, there were more church members but fewer workers.
Also, people from all over the world gathered in the church.
Therefore, the original Christians in Jerusalem were not familiar with the home situation of the Greeks.
So when the church was giving help, a marginalized class was created, which caused resentment.
When giving help in the church, we should make sure that there are no marginalized classes so that we do not listen to resentment.
Therefore, the Jerusalem Church assgined deacons full of wisdom and the Holy Spirit to take charge of the work.
In general, people start with resentment without thinking deeply.
But Christians should not blame.
Ngunit bilang isang Kristiyano hindi dapat magsisihan.
Because resentment is the shortcut to our soul's collapse.
The Israelites blamed in the wilderness.
Ang israelita ay sinisisi sa ilang.
The reason Israelites were bitten by fiery snake in the wilderness was resentment.
When i resent, the fire snake comes to me suddenly.
At some point, when the fiery snake comes, my soul will be destroyed and judged.
So, Jms 5: 9 said,
Sa Santiago 5:9 sinasabi
Jms 5:9 Don't grumble against each other, brothers, or you will be judged. The Judge is standing at the door!
Therefore, Christians should not blame. so our soul will escape judgment.
May you enjoy the peace, joy, and freedom of the soul from the Lord.
