Uplands celebrated Hari Raya

The International School of Penang (Uplands)  celebrated Hari Raya yesterday, and it was truly a memorable and heartwarming occasion for everyone involved.

A huge thank you to UPTA for organising such a wonderful and well-planned event. Your efforts brought the whole community together in the spirit of joy, unity, and celebration.

There were so many exciting stations to explore—from intricate henna drawings (beautifully done by one of our talented students) to creative face painting, an enchanting magic booth, and Jawi writing, adding a meaningful cultural touch to the festivities.

And of course, no celebration is complete without food. The spread of delicious Malay traditional dishes was absolutely delightful, giving everyone a taste of authentic Hari Raya flavours.

It was a beautiful day filled with laughter, culture, and togetherness—one that we will cherish for a long time.

페낭(업랜드) 국제학교는 어제 하리 라야를 기념했으며, 관련된 모든 사람들에게 정말 기억에 남고 따뜻한 행사였습니다.
이렇게 멋지고 잘 계획된 행사를 기획해 주신 UPTA에 큰 감사를 드립니다. 여러분의 노력은 온 커뮤니티를 기쁨, 단결, 축하의 정신으로 하나로 모았습니다.
복잡한 헤나 드로잉(재능 있는 학생 중 한 명이 아름답게 그린)부터 창의적인 페이스 페인팅, 매혹적인 마술 부스, 자위 글짓기까지 탐험할 수 있는 흥미로운 장소가 너무 많았습니다. 축제에 의미 있는 문화적 감동을 더했습니다.
물론 음식 없이는 축하가 완성되지 않습니다. 맛있는 말레이 전통 요리가 펼쳐져 모두에게 진정한 하리 라야 맛을 느낄 수 있었습니다.
웃음, 문화, 그리고 함께하는 마음으로 가득 찬 아름다운 날이었습니다—우리가 오랫동안 소중히 간직할 날이었습니다.
