Prefects & Student Councillors Investiture Ceremony 2026

A proud and meaningful occasion unfolded at Austin Heights International School on Wednesday, 26 August 2026, as we officially welcomed our newly appointed Prefects and Student Councillors for the 2026/2027 academic year.

The ceremony marked an important milestone for our student leaders as they took their oath of office, pledging to uphold the values and responsibilities entrusted to them and to serve the school community with integrity, dedication and commitment.

Head Boy Lee Kangse, Head Girl Zahra Shabbir Hussain, and Student Council President Sebastian Ong delivered inspiring speeches, sharing their aspirations and commitment to making a positive difference in our school community.

Principal Mr Suresh Kumar and Founder Chairman Dato’ Ir. Steve Chong Yoon On congratulated the newly appointed leaders, reminding them that leadership is both a privilege and a responsibility, and encouraging them to lead by example.

A special highlight was the badge-pinning ceremony, where Dato’ Ir. Steve Chong Yoon On and CEO Datin Low Peck Tim proudly pinned the badges on our Head Boy, Head Girl, Student Council President and Deputy President, formally recognising their leadership roles.

2026년 학생 임원 및 학생회 임명식

2026년 8월 26일 수요일, 오스틴 하이츠 국제학교에서 자랑스럽고 뜻깊은 행사가 열렸습니다. 2026/2027 학년도에 새로 임명된 학생회장과 학생 대표들을 공식적으로 환영하는 자리였습니다.

이 행사는 학생 리더들이 취임 선서를 하며 자신들에게 맡겨진 가치와 책임을 지키고, 정직함과 헌신, 그리고 책임감을 가지고 학교 공동체에 봉사할 것을 다짐하는 중요한 이정표가 되었습니다.

리 캉세 반장, 자흐라 샤비르 후세인 반장, 그리고 학생회장 세바스찬 옹이 감동적인 연설을 통해 학교 공동체에 긍정적인 변화를 만들고자 하는 포부와 다짐을 나누었습니다.

수레시 쿠마르 교장과 창립 회장 다토이르. 스티브 총 윤 온은 새로 임명된 리더들을 축하하며, 리더십이 특권이자 책임임을 상기시키고 모범을 보여 이끌도록 격려했습니다.

특별한 하이라이트는 Dato' Ir.가 배지를 달아주는 의식이었습니다. 스티브 총 윤 온과 CEO 대틴 로우 펙 팀은 우리 학교의 남학생 대표, 여학생 대표, 학생회장, 부회장에게 배지를 자랑스럽게 달아주며 그들의 리더십을 공식적으로 인정했습니다.
