A Date with a Book  책과의 데이트

Our Lower Primary students from Year 1 and Year 2 came together for a special assembly activity, A Date with a Book, celebrating the joy of reading.

With books in hand, some enjoyed the sunshine outdoors picnic style, while others cosied up indoors.

Each child brought a favourite book or selected one from the school library, making the experience personal and meaningful. Students also completed differentiated book review templates tailored to their level, encouraging thoughtful reflection and building confidence in sharing their ideas.

At IHH, we believe reading opens doors to imagination, knowledge and lifelong learning.

초등학교 1학년과 2학년 학생들은 독서의 기쁨을 기념하는 특별 집회 활동인 책과 함께하는 데이트를 위해 모였습니다.
책을 들고 야외 피크닉 스타일로 햇빛을 즐기는 사람들도 있었고, 실내에서 아늑하게 차려입은 사람들도 있었습니다.
각 아이가 좋아하는 책을 가져오거나 학교 도서관에서 선택하여 개인적이고 의미 있는 경험을 할 수 있었습니다. 또한 학생들은 자신의 수준에 맞춘 차별화된 서평 템플릿을 완성하여 사려 깊은 성찰을 유도하고 아이디어를 공유하는 데 자신감을 쌓았습니다.
