IPC Theme 1A: Brainwave – Learning About Our Amazing Brains!

Our Year 1–6 students have been on an exciting journey of discovery as they explored one of the most amazing parts of the human body — the brain!

From discovering the different parts of the brain and their functions to taking on fun memory challenges, our students had plenty of opportunities to think, question, experiment and challenge themselves.

One of the most meaningful parts of the unit was learning about Growth Mindset vs Fixed Mindset. Students discovered that mistakes are part of learning, challenges help us grow, and perseverance and positive thinking can help us become more confident, resilient and capable learners.

Through engaging activities, discussions, reflections and hands-on experiences, our students developed a deeper understanding of how they learn, remember, think and improve.

Well done, Year 1–6! You have shown curiosity, enthusiasm and a wonderful willingness to learn and grow.

IPC 주제 1A: 뇌파 – 놀라운 우리 뇌에 대해 배우기!

1학년부터 6학년까지의 우리 학생들은 인체에서 가장 놀라운 부분 중 하나인 뇌를 탐험하며 신나는 발견의 여정을 함께했습니다!

뇌의 여러 부분과 그 기능을 알아가는 것부터 재미있는 기억력 도전에 참여하는 것까지, 학생들은 생각하고 질문하며 실험하고 스스로에게 도전할 수 있는 다양한 기회를 가졌습니다.

이번 단원에서 가장 의미 있었던 부분 중 하나는 성장 마인드셋과 고정 마인드셋에 대해 배운 것이었어요. 학생들은 실수가 학습의 일부이며, 도전이 우리를 성장하게 하고, 인내와 긍정적인 생각이 자신감 있고 회복력 있으며 유능한 학습자가 되는 데 도움이 된다는 것을 알게 되었습니다.

흥미로운 활동, 토론, 성찰, 그리고 직접 체험을 통해 학생들은 자신이 어떻게 배우고, 기억하며, 사고하고, 발전하는지에 대해 더 깊이 이해하게 되었습니다.

1학년부터 6학년까지, 정말 잘했어요! 호기심과 열정, 그리고 배우고 성장하려는 멋진 의지를 보여주셨습니다.
