Congratulations to our talented musicians, Olivia and Clovis (Year 11) who made their mark at RockFest 2025! Olivia was one of the 10 finalists to drum it out at the live finals and came away with a Silver Award in the Drums Graded Category Level 3. Her performance piece, Pop it in the Top (Grade 6 Rockschool), truly impressed the judges and audience alike. Clovis also clinched a Silver Award in the Contemporary Piano Open 4 Category, captivating everyone with his expressive rendition of Joe Hisaishi’s “Merry-Go-Round of Life.” His performance was filled with cinematic emotion, lyrical nuance, and musical courage. Launched in 2017, RockFest Malaysia provides a platform for musicians of all ages to showcase their talent and passion for music through graded and open categories and we’re so proud to see our students shine on that stage!

RockFest 2025에서 두각을 나타낸 재능 있는 뮤지션 올리비아와 클로비스(11학년)에게 축하의 인사를 전합니다! 올리비아는 라이브 파이널에서 이 곡을 발표한 10명의 결선 진출자 중 한 명으로 드럼 등급 부문 3등급에서 은상을 수상했습니다. 그녀의 연주곡인 '팝 잇 인 더 톱(6학년 록스쿨)'은 심사위원과 관객 모두에게 깊은 인상을 남겼습니다. 클로비스는 또한 현대 피아노 오픈 4 부문에서도 은상을 수상하며 조 히사이시의 "인생의 메리고 라운드"를 표현한 연주로 모두를 매료시켰습니다. 그의 공연은 영화적 감동과 서정적인 뉘앙스, 음악적 용기로 가득했습니다. 2017년에 출시된 RockFest 말레이시아는 모든 연령대의 뮤지션들이 등급별 및 개방형 카테고리를 통해 음악에 대한 재능과 열정을 뽐낼 수 있는 플랫폼을 제공하며, 학생들이 그 무대에서 빛을 발할 수 있게 되어 매우 자랑스럽습니다!
