지식인의 한 사람으로서 보고있기만 안타까워서 민주당 당대표 선거에 대해서 한 마디를 하고자 합니다.

김민석 후보, 송영길 후보, 정청래 후보는 제가 모두 존경하는 정치인입니다.

I'd like to say something about the Democratic Party of Korea's party leadership election because I'm sorry to see you as one of the intellectuals. Candidates Kim Min-Seok, Song Young-Gil, and Jeong Cheong-Rae are all politicians I respect.

1. 그러나, 민주당이 <신천지 개입>을 스스로 억지로 끌어들여서, 자신의 정적을 제거하면

국민들이 그 비열한 처신에 대해서 박수를 보낼 것으로 생각하는지요?

1. However, if Democrats force themselves to engage the Shincheonji intervention and remove their political opponents. Do you think the people will applaud that vile behavior?

2. 민주당이 정말로 <신천지 개입>이 확인되어, <비상 계엄>과 <내란 세력>과 동급으로

수사를 받고, 특검을 실시하고, 이재명 대통령의 업적을 땅바닥에 떨어뜨려야 하겠는지요?

2. Should the Democratic Party really be confirmed to have an intervention in Shincheonji, investigated on the same level as Emergency Martial Law and the Insurrection Force, conduct a Special Counsel Investigation, and drop President Lee Jae-myung's achievements to the ground?

3. 비열한 인신공격, 중상모략, 비난을 하기보다는 국민들의 공감을 얻을 수 있는 정정당당하고, 좀 더 품위 있는 자신의 전문성, 인품과 품격, 상대를 배려하는 마음의 여유, 미래에 대한 정책적인 비전 제시, 선의의 공정한 경쟁을 하고, 바라보고 있는 국민들을 불편하게 하기 보다는 그 누구를 선택해도 아쉬움이 없는 그런 능력이 있고, 전문성과 품위가 있는 정치인이 될 수는 없는지요?

3. Rather than making mean personal attacks, slander and accusations, can't you become a politician with the ability, professionalism, character and dignity, a more decent amount of consideration for others, presenting a policy vision for the future, fair competition in good faith, and choosing anyone without any regrets, rather than making the people who are watching them uncomfortable?

4. 붕당정치(朋黨政治 / 당쟁)는 늘 존재해 왔으나, 망국적인 정치 현상입니다. 붕당간의 대립은 지극히 배타적이며, 주로 자기들의 이해관계에 몰입하고, 국민과 민생에는 전혀 관련이 없는 문제들을 중심으로 전개되어 국력을 약화시키는 결과를 가져오는 망국적 정치 현상으로서, 선량한 국민들을 편가르고, 상대에 대한 존중과 배려보다는 부정적인 인식을 형성하여 불필요한 싸움을 야기하게 됩니다.

4. Party strife has always existed, but it is a ruinous political phenomenon. The confrontation between the party strife is extremely exclusive and immerse themself in their interests that have nothing to do with the people and people's livelihoods resulting in consequences of weakening national power that divided the good people and formed negative perceptions rather than respect and consideration for the other, causing unnecessary fights.
