Fortune Teller

The next day came soon.
We met together again at the ticket booth of 경복궁 Palace at 11: 30 AM in the morning.

I have some files illustrating the details of the palace such as 이성계 portrait,
수선전도, Old map of Seoul, 근정전 The main throne hall, King's chair, 태극기
Real national flag, 일월오봉병 Picture of the emblem of the King and 12 zodiacal
animals list which is written by characteristics in English and so on.

First of all, let me introduce brief knowledge of palace that will be more helpful
for your better understanding of the cultural elements of this palace.

This is the portrait of the founder of 조선 dynasty, the former kingdom of Korea.
He was one of powerful general at that time in the late 14th century.

Let's take a look at the yellow dragon patterns on the chest of his robe.
Dragon symbolizes the King and yellow colour represents the center of universe.
There are 12 zodiacal animals and 4 direction guardians on the two terraces.
Would you let me know what animal you are for ?  All of us  were six.
They are rat, tiger, ox, rooster, horse, rabbit.

1; Rat 쥐 ; 1912,1924,1936,1948, 1960, 1972, 1984,1996,
Rats are considered a symbol of wealth and good luck. However greed can be a problem
if not catious, for they are often selfish. Rats are also smart and usually organized.
Their compitible signs are Dragon, Monkey and Ox. Avoid the horse.

쥐는 부와 행운의 상징으로 생각한다. 그렇지만 조심하지 않으면 욕심이 문제가 될 수 있다.
왜냐하면 그들은 가끔 이기적이기 때문이다. 쥐들은 또한 영리하고 대개 조직적이다.
쥐와 조화하는 것은 용, 원숭이, 소다. 말을 피하라.

2; Tiger .호랑이 ; 1914,1926,1938,1950,1962,1974,1986,1998.
Tigers are born leaders and usually fun to be around. They are courageous, warmhearted
and seductive. However they are also quick tempered and unpredictable. Other compatible
signs are Dragon, Pig and Dog. Avoid the monkey.

호랑이는 지도자로 태어나며 주위를 맴도는 것을 좋아한다. 그들은 용맹스럽고 가슴이 따뜻하고
매혹적이다. 그렇지만 그들은 성질이 급하고 예측할 수가 없다. 다른 조화하는 것은 용,
돼지,개이다. 원숭이를 피하라.

3; Ox 소 ; 1913,1925,1937,1949,1961,1973,1985,1997.
Oxen are very patient, hard working and steady, yet dogmatic and set their ways.
They make good leaders although they often take themselves too seriously. They make
affectionate, reliable friends. Their most compatible signs are Snake, Rat and Rooster.
Avoid the Sheep.

소는 참을성이 많고 열심히 일하며 꾸준하다. 그런데 독단적이고 그들의 길로만 간다. 그들은
또 좋은 지도자들을 섬기며 때로는 너무 신중하기도 하다. 소는 애정이 넘치는 믿을만한 친구를

Roosters are practical, resourceful and have a keen eye. Often well dressed, they are proud,
straitforward and like to be in control, which can lead them to be very picky. Their
compatible signs are Snake, Dragon and Ox. Avoid the Rabbit.

닭은 실제적이고 지략이 있고 날카로운 안목을 가지고 있다. 가끔 옷을 잘 입으며 자만심이 있고
정직하게 똑바로 나간다. 사소한 일로 법석을 떨게 만들 수 있는 지배에 들어가기 쉽다.
그들과 조화하는 것은 뱀, 용, 소이다. 토끼를 피하라.

5,Horse 말 ; 1918,1930,1942,1954,1966,1978,1990,2002.
Horses are known for their nomadic nature. They are energetic, popular, charismatic and
attractive. Hoeses are independent and can accomplish a lot but their impatience can lead
them to seem insensitive. Their compatible signs are Tiger and Dog. Avoid the Rat.

말은 방랑자적 기질로 알려져 있다. 그들은 활력이 넘치고 평판이 좋으며 카리스마가 있고
매력적이다. 말은 독립적이고 많은 것을 이룰 수 있다. 그러나 그들의 참을성 없음은 무감각하게

6.Rabbit 토끼; 1915,1927,1939,1951,1963,1975,1987,1999.
Rabbits are lucky, considerate and cautious. Their sweet sensitive and timid nature will
do almost anything to avoid a fight . Rabbits have excellent style and make loving friends.
Their compatible signs are Snake, Monkey and Horse. Avoid the Rooster.

토끼는 행운이고 사려 깊고 조심스럽다. 그들의 달콤하고 감각적이고 소심한 성격은 거의
모든 어떠한 싸움도 피할 것이다. 토끼는 뛰어난 멋쟁이고 사랑스런 친구들을 사귄다. 그들과
조화하는 것은 뱀, 원숭이, 그리고 말이다. 닭을 피하라.

Every animal has their compitable signs and avoidables. For my goodness, African American
found out the method how to make the avoidables. If it is symetric, it can be avoidables.
For exemple, the rat should avoid the horse on the cardinal south, the noon of a day.
tiger for monkey, oxen for sheep, rooster for rabbit,

We laughed and enjoyed bright and cool spring time together, finding the real stone animals
on the terrace of 근정전 월대 main throne hall.

Time passed so fast. Belly tells us the time to eat. On the way to eat there were two women
who want to know their future fortune from a palm reader.
I was also fortune teller to give them a characteristic future by the 12 zodiacal animals.

What's the difference between the palm reader and fortune teller !
I became a fortune teller to entertain them.

Be happy, youngsters, I was your fortune teller.
