20250925 Canopy Dolly for an Old Man  늘그막을 위한 그늘막 수레

We use a canopy for Outdoor Market Ministry.

It was manageable when it was 10X10' by myself.

It became more challenging to carry it in and out of the bus everytime after having 10X15' due to its weight which might be 70-80 lbs.

It is an important factor for me to continue this ministry because of my decreasing strength.

I could continue the ministry as long as I can handle that much of work load.

There could be better solution for this issue.

But without guarantee of any dramatic solution I need to figure out some other options to take care of the weight.

So I made a very simple two-wheeled canopy carrying dolly.

Now I don't have to lift whole canopy for in and out.

I can do it with a little bit of maneuvering the dolly.

Which means, I kinda extended my service time little bit longer.

Did I get little bit younger now then?

(When I bought it, the supposed-to-be-wheels-included carrying case came without wheel and I could not took care of it due to the silence of the merchant. Anyway, mine is much better than the original case.)

야외 시장 사역에 캐노피를 사용한다.

10X10피트(3.5X4.5m) 크기였을 때는 혼자서도 충분히 감당할 수 있었는데...

10X15피트(4.7X5.7m)로 바꾼 후에는 70~80파운드(약 32~38kg) 정도 나가는 무게 때문에 매번 버스에 싣고 내리는 것이 더 힘들어졌다.

이는 내가 노약해지는 체력으로 사역의 지속 여부에 영향을 주는 중요한 요소인 셈이다.

그 정도 노동량을 감당할 수 있어야 사역을 계속할 수 있을 테니까.

이 문제에 대한 더 나은 해결책이 있을 수도 있을 것이다.

하지만 극적인 해결책이 보장되지는 않는 상황에서는 무게를 감당할 수 있는 다른 방법을 찾아야 할 터.

그래서 아주 간단한 두 바퀴 캐노피 운반용 수레를 만들었다.

이제 그늘막을 통째로 들고 안팎으로 옮길 필요가 없게 됐다.

약간의 조작만으로 가능하니까.

즉, 사역가능의 시기를 조금 더 늘린 셈.

내가 좀 젊어진 건가?

(이걸 살 때, 바퀴가 달려 있어야 할 운반 케이스는 바퀴 없이 배송되었고, 업체의 침묵으로 인해 해결할 수 없었는데... 어쨌거나 내가 만든 것이 원래보다 훨씬 낫다.)
