Now on the first day of the week Mary Magdalene came early to the tomb, while it was still dark, and saw the stone already taken away from the tomb. John 20:1
The Resurrection of the Lord, and resurrection of mine
This phrase is often used as the body of the Easter sermon. That's right. This is the record of the resurrection of the Lord. However, not many people know that it is one of the three major Jewish feasts, the feast of first harvest of barley. The first harvest of barley is to be dedicated to the temple as a shaking offering. And the issue is that each house has different barley ripening, so the date may vary depending on their harvest situation.
So, the first harvest feast starts with this first week of the passover, not a day, and continues for the following 50 days. So everyday for the 50 days is the first harvest feast. Of course, the resurrection of the Lord on this first harvest feast shows that he is the first fruit of those who sleep. But it is not recorded when and what time the Lord was resurrected. In other words, the record of the resurrection of the Lord in the early morning of the Sunday here is not the record of the resurrection of the Lord itself, but of the event of Mary Magdalene meeting the resurrected Lord.
In other words, the experience of those who have met the resurrection of the Lord goes differently for each individual. Therefore, the first fruit here refers to the spirits of those who met the resurrected Lord, not the Lord. Thus, the day when the Lord appeared to the Tomas after eight days from that day was the first fruit of the Tomas. And this first fruit represents the harvest of barley, which became the first feast of those who met the Lord's resurrection, or Easter.
I'll ventilate the area for a moment when I tell you this far. So far, we will remember that whole book of the Gospel of John of 21 chapters has been divided into seasonal feasts. The first verse of today's text is the seventh feast, which is the last of them. This makes us aware that the Gospel consists of seven paragraphs, separated by a total of seven terms. This is the same as Genesis 1, the genealogy of the Lord, and the Seven Compositions of the Book of Revelations.
And the seventh paragraph, which is the final step in all of this composition, contains the final text of closing the whole process. However, if you notice that the first verse of today's text speaks to the personal experiences of those who met the resurrection of the Lord, you will realize that the last seventh paragraph of the Bible is finally achieved for each individual. In other words, the last, or end, of the Bible does not mean the end of an era, but is achieved by the enlightened individual of all ages.
And it's Pentecostal on the day of the 50-day feast. From this point on, the first production of wheat harvest will be given as an offering, and of course, the first product will be given depending on the individual's situation starting from then on, not on the day of Pentecostal Day only. If the feast of harvest of barley is for each individual to meet the resurrected Lord, the fifth day refers to his or her own resurrection. Those who heard the news of resurrection of the Lord from those who met the resurrection of the Lord did not believe it before they met themselves, but on Pentecost, those who heard it could hear it with their own voice.
The record of the resurrection of the Gospel ends with the conversation between the Lord and Peter. The Lord tells Peter to feed my sheep three times. It gave Peter, who denied the Lord three times, full consolation and restoration. This is the life of those who meet the resurrected Lord and their own resurrection. It is our full life that allows us to fully recover and take care of the Lord's lamb.
