Talk about drinking etiquette in Korea.
Have you ever committed a faux pas while drinking? Drinking etiquette in Korea is pretty established. Drinking is a way to release inhibitions and a prelude to better business relations."Going Dutch" used to be obsolete when drinking. And these days, younger people will pay by this method. But the norm is that one person will take care of the bill. Custom dictates that this is usually the eldest or highest ranking person in your party. Also, never fill your own glass. And make sure to fill another's empty glass, especially if they are older or higher in status than you. When someone offers you alcohol, hold your cup with both hands to show respect.
