급박하고 계속적인 변화가 있는 현대의 일 환경을 고려해 볼 때, 한 사람의 일의 만족도를 충족시키는 것이란 매우 힘들다.
그것도 불가능하지 않다면 말이다.
급격히 변화하는 기술과 규모를 줄일 수도 있는 가능성과 같은 약한 경재의 경제적 변수들은
모두 그 직장을 좋아하고 더 오래 있고 싶었던 사람들까지도 왜 일을 할 수 있는 임기기간이 줄 수 밖에 없는지에 대한 정당화가 된다.
작업에 따란 보상은, 일의 추진력을 늘리고, 일 만족도를 확장시키는 데에 원료가 되지만 이러한 보상들은 쉽게 받기 힘들며, 모두에게 주어지지도 않는다.
그러므로 이러한 영역에는 정글의 법칙이 존재하기 때문에 누구에게나 “황금 손수건(혜택)”이 늘 적용되는 것은 불가능하다.
