There would be no higher religion than Christianity. When I realized the
love law of the Lord, which makes the law the governing principle and
raises me to the high level of Christ, I had a remarkable experience.
Greed is also true in the litmus of love.
-
The last commandment of the Ten Commandments is 'no greed'. It's a two-
sided relationship between the first commandment, the demand to worship
only God. Greed lies in the absence of God. Greed is powerful enough to
swallow God. See what King Aram and his wife Jezebel looked like when
they were greedy.
-.
The text is the story of Naboth's vineyard, and when King Ahab tried to buy
the land but was rejected, the food and drink were completely abolished, and
Queen Jezebel stepped up to solve the problem and finally took over the
orchard. After God declared judgment through the prophet, reprimanding Ahab
for failing to fully extinguish Ben-Hadad, Ahab returned to Samaria with a heavy,
worried heart, not happy with his victory.
-
Navot's vineyard, which I saw going back and forth from the palace, is very
impressive. With the king's authority, the owner of the vineyard will be summoned
and asked to sell the field because he will give you a generous price. The reason
is that the vineyard is near the palace, so I want to make it my own vegetable
field. The owner of the field may refuse to sell.
-
The owner of the field said he would not sell the land because it was prohibited
by Jehovah. Navot, in the opinion of me and Ahab, full of messy thoughts, is a
straightforward, stupid guy. In the meantime, the inflexible Navot was adamant
that he could not move the earth ticket (Re25:23-28), and Ahab had no choice
but to send Navot back.
-
Greed is something that needs to be filled but can't be filled, but from now on, the
greed of Ahab is a vineyard. Even if I look like this, I'm a king, and I can't act like a
gangster without body pain due to the face of learning college in Samgyeong, a
librarian, so I'm going crazy. If it were Yeonsan-gun, he would have made
Heungcheong and David would have sent our son to the battlefield, but since there
is no big deal and no head, he is just struggling like a poop dog.
-
Jezebel, the evil wife, asked why, and Navot, even if a man who doesn't know what
to do, told him that he doesn't sell the field. Jezebel then sets up false witnesses and
sets up Naboth to stone him for cursing the king and God. Isn't it the travesty of the
monarchy?

There is a way for a child to have a toy.
First of all, whine to your mother. If that doesn't work, I'll complain.
If it doesn't work, I don't eat.
Then my mom buys me expensive toys for nothing.
Ahab was just like that. When I turned around without eating, my wife stepped up.
The problem is that it caused God's laws to fall to the ground, and not only did people
die, but also ruined a family. Ahab knew clearly that he would not be able to buy the
land. Because he is also an Israeli, the land is a legacy that God distributed to each
tribe. Nevertheless, he wanted to keep the land.
-
Jezebel is a person who doesn't even have that notion. She's a stranger, a Phoenician
princess, and what she saw and learned growing up is the power of the world. Because
with that, there's nothing that can't be done. In ancient countries at the time, monarchs
had absolute power. The king can have anything if he decides. Even if it's in a foreign
country, you can bring it even if it causes war.
-
So for them, power is God. Jezebel, who had such an idea, cannot respect God's law.
It would have been a piece of cake for her because she survived in the palace where
Kwon Mo-sul played board. The husband was a king. It is also the king of Israel who
serves God.
-
He was happy to receive a gift from his wife like a child who took a toy and liked it.
It was arranged at the expense of a family.
It's all because of Ahab's greed. He coveted land that was good for the eye.
You can actually see anything with your eyes.
-
The problem is that the greed in his mind strongly accepted what he saw. The
evidence is that I kept thinking about it. Greed is like a leech. It sticks to each other
and never. If desire is what you want, want, and pursue, it can be the driving force
that makes a person energized. There's a good desire for good.
-
The problem is that it can spread to evil desires. I think there's a standard for judging
that. It's nothing less than a motive. If the motive is good in the light of personal
conscience, it is good, and if it is not good, it is not good. But greed has the ability to
blur even that motive. Because it rationalizes straight away.
-
In other words, you can water down and make evil desires good. Greed is a master
of disguise. Therefore, a number of criteria are needed to understand the identity
correctly. It's so good at wrapping that you can't really figure it out with one standard.
First of all, it's God's will. But it's actually very difficult to tell the will of God.So you
can disguise your greed as much as you want.
-
Next is the word of God. But just as the division tested Jesus with the word of God,
greed can deceive us with it. Is it spiritual or physical? That's more clear. Further
out of the Bible? No? I think it would be good to reflect it on the Bible.
-
There's another touchstone. It's looking at the seniors of faith. Ancient monks can
be valuable models for those who can't control their material greed. This is because
there are many people who sold all their assets and distributed them to the poor as
Jesus said and became poor monks. Is this idea simply from God? Did you come
to the world? That method will also be effective.
-
Because simple questions can be answered simply. We are Christians. I don't know
anything else, but this issue of greed should be sorted out in advance. Because it's
something that keeps coming up in our hearts as long as we live. I think the most
important thing is when the first thought comes to mind. If you look at your first
motivation carefully, you can understand to some extent whether it is greed
-
That's when you have to cut it off. I'm giving up. If you don't deny the idea, greed
immediately goes into self-justification. Because greed is an expert in watering.
If you don't throw it away at that time, it will get bigger like a snowball. When there
is an avalanche in the mountain, it becomes difficult to control it if it already gets big.
It's only a matter of time before you become like King Ahab once you're obsessed
with greed
-
This is because a car called greed has no control. If you look on the highway,
there's a saying, "The end of dozing off is not in this world." It means that you can
die from drowsy driving. Same thing. The end of greed is death, failure, and despair.
"Greed is conceived, and sin is produced, and sin is grown, and death is produced,"
said reporter James.
-
Maybe Ahab lived exactly as he said. It's not all about this world to give up greed
and deny it. "What happens out of greed? First of all, God and the Word mean
nothing. It's because greed blinds.
-
It becomes the best goal of life until the object of greed is obtained. All life is
coordinated with it. That's why the Apostle Paul called greed idolatry
(Choi Seong-su, commandment is the gospel). 2008. Book Publishing article nuri)
-
Why does greed lead to disobedience, idolatry, and the killing of neighbors?
What's my greed I need to kill right now?

The Lord, Ahab, who prevented him from selling his faith by prohibiting
the sale of land, became so worried that his greed for Nabot's vineyard
was not good enough. Greed is idolatry, so let me resist the temptation
of women and money in me. Let the cause, which is not illegal like Ahab,
be herem on the cross, not obedient, so that it does not become a
servant of greed
