참부모경 - 381. 참어머님 대학 순회강연

참부모님의 세계적인 승리권을 한국에 전수하고 이를 남북통일과 세계평화운동으로 연결시키기 위해 1993년 10월 4일부터 31일까지 참어머님의 전국 40개 대학 순회강연회가 개최되었다. 이를 계기로 대학가에서 운동권 세력과 전국대학원리연구회 간의 갈등관계가 완화되어 서로 대화하고 이해하는 모임이 마련되었고, 남북한 대학생과 교수들이 참석한 가운데 세미나가 열리게 되었다.

1 앞으로 세계의 젊은이들, 2세들을 누가 지도하느냐 하는 것이 세계적 문제입니다. 광야 40년노정을 걸어가는 이스라엘 민족의 1세는 광야에서 쓰러졌지만 2세가 상륙해서 소망했던 것을 찾았던 것과 마찬가지로 세계가 그런 때로 넘어온다는 것입니다. 상륙한 2세는 새로운 건국의 사상과 세계평화의 사상으로 나라와 세계를 건설해야 됩니다. 이스라엘 민족이 그것을 못했습니다. 이런 탕감복귀를 통일교회가 해야 됩니다. 이 모든 문제가 여자에게 달려 있습니다. 어머니에게 달려 있다는 것입니다. 그래서 어머니가 중요합니다.
 
2 이제부터는 어머니가 자녀를 교육해야 됩니다. 이스라엘 민족이 가나안 복지에 들어가서 기성가정과 그 아들딸의 영향을 받아 이스라엘 왕권을 수립하는 데 실패했습니다. 이것을 탕감복귀하는 의미에서 우리 2세와 어머니들은 대학가 2세들이 사탄세계에 물들지 않고 지상천국을 건설하는 데 전통적 사상을 심을 수 있도록 해야 됩니다. 거꾸로입니다. 어머니와 아들딸이 하나되어서 어떻게 미래의 이스라엘 왕국을 건설하느냐 하는 것입니다. 그것이 사명입니다. 이스라엘 민족의 어머니들이 그 생각을 못했습니다. 아들딸과 하나돼서 가나안 7족을 따라간 것입니다. 그들 가정과 아들딸을 따라간 것이 문제였습니다. 지금 우리는 그 반대가 되어야 합니다. 어머니와 아들딸이 하나돼서 미래의 천국을 건설해야 됩니다. 어머니가 아들딸을 교육해서 대학가에 영향을 미쳐야 합니다. 그러니까 세계 여성들이 어머니 분신이 되어서 아들딸을 강제로 품고서라도 180도 돌아서야 됩니다. 그렇게 하기 위하여 어머님이 1992년부터 2년 동안에 256곳에서 열심히 순회강연을 한 것과 같이 여러분도 그와 같은 일을 해야 됩니다. 그래서 나라를 구하고 자기 친척을 구해야 됩니다. 이것은 막연한 것이 아니라 현실 문제입니다. 아버님이 40년간 싸우던 것이 현실 문제입니다. 하늘나라를 찾아야 됩니다. 아버님이 미국에서 강연하는 것도 아버님을 중심삼고 어머님에게 바통을 넘겨주어 대학가까지 움직여 나가기 위해서입니다. 이제는 2세를 어머니들이 구해야 됩니다.
 
3 어머니를 중심삼고 대학원리연구회는 아벨이고, 대학가의 운동권이 가인입니다. 가인 아벨의 싸움을 어머니가 수습해야 됩니다. 남한의 우익 좌익이 하나되어 아벨 자리에 서서 가인 편인 북한 학생들과 통일을 하면 끝나는 것입니다. 주권자들이 아무리 반대하더라도 청년들이 어머니와 하나되는 날에는 통일의 운세가 이 땅 위에 찾아오는 것입니다. 그것이 천운이기 때문에 이 일을 실행하지 않을 수 없습니다. 여러분의 불타는 젊은 가슴에 꺼지지 않는 불을 붙여야 할 시간이 지금입니다.
 
4 어머니가 미국 국회에서 환영받는 가운데 강연을 했고 유엔총회에서 강연을 했습니다. 유엔은 자유세계의 국회입니다. 여기에서 환영받고 해와 국가인 일본에 들어가서도 승리했습니다. 한국 대학가의 좌익계열이 원리연구회를 쫓아냈지만 전국에서 어머니가 이를 교체해 놓았습니다. 장자권복귀입니다. 기독교와 운동권이 하나되어 통일교회를 쳤지만 이제는 바꿔집니다. 바른쪽이 왼쪽이 되고 왼쪽이 바른쪽이 되는 것입니다. 하늘 앞으로 돌아서 들어감으로써 공산세력이 통일교회 편이 되는 것입니다. 처음 된 자가 나중 되고 나중 된 자가 처음 된다는 것입니다.
 
5 1992년부터 1995년까지 3년 기간에 어머니가 해야 될 책임이 큽니다. 어머니가 선두에 서야 됩니다. 3수는 분별수입니다. 그 기간은 분별하는 기간입니다. 그래서 어머니가 미국으로부터 유엔, 일본, 세계까지 전부 분별하는 것입니다. 한국에서는 40개 대학을 중심삼고 순회강연을 했습니다. 40개 대학과 세계 40개국을 연결하는 것입니다. 이것이 부모를 중심삼고 가인 아벨입니다. 그래서 비로소 어머니가 아버지와 대등한 자리에 서는 것입니다. 아버지의 모든 승리의 패권은 어머님에게 전수되는 것입니다. 전 세계가 부모님 가정을 제2차 세계대전 후에 환영하지 못하고 쫓아낸 것을 부모님 가정이 2차적으로 전 세계에서 환영을 받음으로써 탕감복귀하는 것입니다.
 
6 이제부터는 자기 일족과 대학교와 중고등학교 학생 중심으로 전도해야 됩니다. 지금은 2세시대입니다. 이스라엘 민족은 모세의 말을 듣지 않았습니다. 그리고 가나안 상륙작전을 할 때에는 모세도 죽고 1세는 다 망했습니다. 그러나 나는 2세와 더불어 상륙하는 것입니다. 이 땅이 2세 땅입니다. 그렇기 때문에 2세를 책임진다는 것입니다. 부모님 가정의 아들딸과 어머니를 중심삼고 미국의 100개 대학에서 강연을 하고 있습니다. 100개 대학만이 아닙니다. 세계적으로 3천300개 대학 강연을 이제 시작하는 것입니다. 일본의 대학을 비롯해 세계 각국의 대학교와 중고등학교 학생들을 수습해야 됩니다. 아담 해와가 타락할 때의 나이인 16세부터 21세까지, 여기에 3년을 더해서 24세까지의 청소년들을 수습해야 됩니다. 그것을 내가 책임지는 것입니다. 그런 때가 왔습니다.
 
7 기독교에 대해 통일교회는 아벨권입니다. 그래서 기독교는 장자권을 탈환하기 위해 승리해 나온 통일교회를 칠 수 없다는 것입니다. 얍복강가에서 천사와 싸워서 이긴 야곱을 에서가 칠 수 없는 것과 같은 입장입니다. 어머니가 미국 국회에서 강연하고 대학가를 품었습니다. 아벨인 대학원리연구회를 운동권 학생들이 폭력으로 쫓아냈지만 어머니가 이를 전복시켜 완전히 동급을 이루는 것입니다. 북한과 남한의 관계가 악화된 상황에서 어머니가 40개 대학에서 강연함으로써 가인 아벨이 찾아진 것입니다. 대학가에서 반대하는 상황을 바꿔 놓은 것입니다. 그것이 지극히 어려운 일이라는 것을 알았지만 몰아댄 것입니다. 이것을 계기로 해서 가인 아벨이 하나됐기 때문에 북한 학생과 교류하게 된 것입니다. 그래서 모스크바 국제대학생지도자 세미나를 시작으로 워싱턴 한국대학학생지도자 연수, 베이징 남북한 대학생 세미나를 대학원리연구회가 개최함으로써 북한의 가인 학생들과 남한의 운동권 학생들을 원리연구회가 주동이 되어 부모님 이름으로 몰아넣은 것입니다.
 
8 어머니가 한국 40개 대학에서 순회강연을 하는 목적은 대학을 움직이기 위해서입니다. 그래서 대학을 중심삼고 운동권을 교육해야 됩니다. 그들을 소련에 데려가려고 하는 것입니다. 소련에는 우리 식구들이 많이 있습니다. 거기에서 21일수련을 하는 것입니다. 모스크바에 데려가서 우리가 3주일만 데리고 다니면서 구경을 시켜 주고 교육하면 전부 돌아가는 것입니다. 그래서 남북한 학생들과 소련 학생, 중국 학생들이 합해서 아시아 지역에서 공산주의사상을 대치할 수 있는 연합회를 만드는 것입니다. 어차피 공산주의는 무너지게 되어 있습니다. 소련이 그랬고, 중국도 무너지고 있습니다. 통일사상은 공산주의를 대치할 사상이라고 해서 교육하는 것입니다. 북한 학생들에게 길을 터놓아야 됩니다. 제일 빠른 것이 그것입니다. 섭리적으로 볼 때 남북한 학생들은 가인 아벨입니다. 그렇게 하면 부모는 자연히 하나되는 것입니다.
 
9 한국의 40개 대학 어머니 대강연회는 기독교와 운동권이 분립되어 우리와 하나되는 계기가 되었습니다. 섭리사적으로 볼 때 이것은 탕감노정에서 지극히 필요한 조건입니다. 어머니를 중심삼고 운동권 학생들과 대학원리연구회가 대학가에서 다시 기반을 잡아야 됩니다. 남한의 운동권 학생들을 아벨로 친다면 북한 학생들은 완전히 가인입니다. 남한에 있는 운동권 학생들은 겉은 빨갗지만 속은 희다는 것입니다. 그러나 북한에 있는 학생들은 완전히 빨갛습니다. 이제 남한 운동권 학생들과 북한 학생들을 모스크바에 데려다가 교육하는 것입니다. 여기에는 일본의 조총련과 민단 학생, 일본의 학생이 가담하는 것입니다. 한국의 학생들을 중심삼고 미국과 중국, 소련의 학생들이 연합해서 북한 학생들을 동화시켜야 됩니다. 그래서 우리는 최선을 다해 북한에 이것을 통보한 것입니다. 지금 모스크바에서 세계평화청년운동 조직을 편성하려고 합니다. 그래서 초국가적으로 사상을 초월하여 청년운동을 전개하는 것입니다. 이것은 대학원리연구회만 가지고는 안 됩니다. 사회 기반이 없기 때문에 대학가를 중심삼고 동창생들을 묶는 것입니다. 동창생과 학생은 가인 아벨입니다. 이들을 묶어 조직을 만들어서 세계적으로 대운동을 전개하기만 하면 급진적인 발전을 할 수 있습니다. 그렇기 때문에 어머님과 세계평화여성연합과 학생연합이 하나되어야 합니다.

真の父母経 - 381. 真のお母様の大学巡回講演

真の父母様の世界的な勝利圏を韓国に伝授し、これを南北統一と世界平和運動に連結させるため、一九九三年十月四日から三十一日まで、真のお母様の全国四十大学巡回講演会が開催された。

これを契機として、大学における運動圏(政治運動に積極的な人々のこと)勢力と「全国大学原理研究会」の葛藤関係が緩和され、互いに対話をして理解する契機が整えられ、南北の大学生と教授たちの交流およびセミナーが開かれるようになった。

1     これから世界の若者たち、二世たちを誰が指導するかが、世界的問題です。荒野四十年路程を歩んだイスラエル民族の一世は、荒野で倒れましたが、二世が(カ ナンに)入り、望んでいたものを探し出したのと同じように、世界がそのような時に越えてくるというのです。その二世は、新しい建国の思想と世界平和の思想 で、国と世界を建設しなければなりません。イスラエル民族は、それができませんでした。このような蕩減復帰を、統一教会がしなければならないのです。この あらゆる問題が女性にかかっています。母親にかかっているというのです。ですから、母親が重要です。

2     これからは、母親が子女を教育しなければなりません。イスラエル民族はカナンの福地に入り、(現地の)既存の家庭とその息子、娘の影響を受け、イスラエルの王権を樹立することに失敗してしまいました。

これを蕩減復帰する意味で、私たちの二世と母親たちは、大学の二世たちがサタン世界に染まらずに地上天国を建設するよう、伝統的な思想を植えられる ようにしなければなりません。逆さまです。母親と息子、娘が一つになり、どのようにして未来のイスラエル王国を建設するかというのです。それが使命です。

イスラエル民族の母親たちは、そのようなことを考えられませんでした。息子、娘と一つになってカナン七族に付いていったのです。彼らの家庭と息子、 娘に付いていったことが問題でした。今、私たちはその反対にならなければなりません。母親と息子、娘が一つになって、未来の天国を建設しなければなりませ ん。

母親が息子、娘を教育して、大学に影響を及ぼさなければなりません。ですから、世界の女性たちがお母様の分身になり、息子、娘を強制的に抱いてで も、一八〇度回らなければならないのです。そのようにするため、お母様が一九九二年から二年間、二百五十六ヵ所で精力的に巡回講演をされたように、皆さん もそのような活動をしなければなりません。そうして、国を救い、自分の親戚を救わなければなりません。

これは漠然としたものではなく、現実問題です。お父様が四十年間闘ったのは、現実問題です。天の国を取り戻さなければなりません。お父様がアメリカ で講演するのも、お父様を中心としてお母様にバトンを渡し、大学まで動かしていくためなのです。今や、二世を母親たちが救わなければなりません。

3     お母様を中心として、大学原理研究会はアベルであり、大学の運動圏はカインです。カインとアベルの闘いを、お母様が収拾しなければなりません。韓国の右翼 と左翼が一つになってアベルの立場に立ち、カイン側の北朝鮮の学生たちと統一を実現すれば、終わるのです。主権者たちがいくら反対しても、青年たちがお母 様と一つになれば、統一の運勢がこの地上に訪れてくるのです。それが天運なので、このことを実行せざるを得ません。皆さんの燃え上がる若い心に、消えるこ とのない火をともすべき時が今なのです。

4     お母様が、アメリカの国会で歓迎を受ける中で講演を行い、国連総会でも講演を行いました。国連は、自由世界の国会(と同じ立場)です。ここで歓迎を受け、 エバ国家の日本に行っても勝利しました。韓国の大学では、左翼系の勢力が原理研究会を追い出しましたが、全国でお母様が、これを入れ替えておきました。長 子権復帰です。キリスト教と運動圏が一つになって統一教会を打ちましたが、今からは入れ替わります。右側が左側になり、左側が右側になるのです。天のみ前 に回って入っていくことにより、共産勢力が統一教会の側になるのです。先の者はあとになり、あとの者は先になるというのです。

5     一九九二年から九五年までの三年間で、お母様が果たすべき責任が大きいのです。お母様が先頭に立たなければなりません。三数は分別数です。その期間は、分 別する期間です。ですから、お母様がアメリカから国連、日本、世界まで、すべて分別するのです。韓国では、四十の大学を中心として、巡回講演を行いまし た。四十の大学と世界四十ヵ国を連結するのです。これが、父母を中心として、カインとアベルです。そうして、初めて、お母様がお父様と対等な位置に立つの です。お父様のすべての勝利の覇権は、お母様に伝授されます。全世界が、第二次世界大戦後に父母様の家庭を歓迎できずに追い出したことを、父母様の家庭が 二次的に全世界で歓迎を受けることで蕩減復帰するのです。

6     これからは、自分の一族と大学生、中高生を中心に伝道しなければなりません。今は二世時代です。イスラエル民族は、モーセの言葉を聞きませんでした。そし て、カナン復帰作戦をするときは、モーセも死に、一世はみな滅びました。しかし、私は二世と共に入るのです。この地は、二世の地です。ですから、二世に責 任をもつというのです。父母様の家庭の息子、娘とお母様を中心として、アメリカの百の大学で講演をしています。百の大学だけではありません。世界的に、今 から三千三百の大学講演を始めるのです。日本の大学を始め、世界各国の大学生と中高生を収拾しなければなりません。アダムとエバが堕落する時の歳である十 六歳から二十一歳まで、ここに三年を加えて、二十四歳までの青少年たちを収拾しなければなりません。それに私が責任をもつのです。そのような時が来まし た。

7     キリスト教に対して、統一教会はアベル圏です。ですから、キリスト教は、長子権を奪還するために勝利してきた統一教会を打つことはできないというのです。 ヤボク川の川辺で天使と闘って勝利したヤコブを、エサウが打つことができないのと同じような立場です。お母様がアメリカの国会で講演し、大学を抱きまし た。アベルである大学原理研究会を、運動圏の学生たちが暴力で追い出しましたが、お母様がこれを転覆させ、完全に同等にするのです。北朝鮮と韓国の関係が 悪化した状況で、お母様が四十の大学で講演をすることにより、カインとアベルが取り戻されたのです。大学で反対する状況を変えておいたのです。それが、こ の上なく難しいことなのは分かっていましたが、せき立てました。これをきっかけにして、カインとアベルが一つになったので、北朝鮮の学生と交流するように なったのです。そうして、モスクワでの国際大学生指導者セミナーを皮切りに、ワシントンDCでの韓国大学生指導者研修、北京での韓国・北朝鮮大学生セミ ナーを大学原理研究会が開催することによって、北朝鮮のカインの学生たちと韓国の運動圏の学生たちを、原理研究会がリーダーとなり、父母様の名によって追 い込んだのです。

8     お母様が、韓国の四十の大学で巡回講演をする目的は、大学を動かすためです。そうして、大学を中心として、運動圏を教育しなければなりません。彼らをソ連 に連れていこうとしているのです。ソ連には、私たちの食口がたくさんいます。そこで二十一日修練をするのです。モスクワに連れていって、私たちが三週間だ け連れて回りながら、見学をさせてあげ、教育をすれば、すべてが回ります。そうして、韓国と北朝鮮の学生たちと、ソ連の学生、中国の学生たちが一つにな り、アジア地域で共産主義思想に対峙できる連合会をつくるのです。いずれにせよ、共産主義は崩れるようになっています。ソ連がそうでしたし、中国も崩れて います。「『統一思想』は、共産主義に代わる思想である」と言って教育するのです。北朝鮮の学生たちに、道を開いておかなければなりません。一番早いのが それです。摂理的に見るとき、韓国と北朝鮮の学生たちは、カインとアベルです。そのようにすれば、父母は自然に一つになるのです。

9     韓国の四十の大学でのお母様の大講演会は、キリスト教と運動圏が分立され、私たちと一つになるきっかけとなりました。摂理史的に見るとき、これは蕩減路程 で、この上なく必要な条件です。お母様を中心として、運動圏の学生たちと大学原理研究会が、大学で再び基盤を築かなければなりません。韓国の運動圏の学生 たちをアベルとみなすなら、北朝鮮の学生たちは完全にカインです。韓国にいる運動圏の学生たちは、表面は赤いのですが、中は白いというのです。しかし、北 朝鮮にいる学生たちは、完全に赤いのです。

今から、韓国の運動圏の学生たちと北朝鮮の学生たちを、モスクワに連れていって教育します。ここに、日本の朝鮮総連と民団の学生、日本の学生が加わ るのです。韓国の学生たちを中心として、アメリカと中国、ソ連の学生たちが連合し、北朝鮮の学生たちを同化させなければなりません。ですから、私たちは最 善を尽くして、北朝鮮にこれを知らせたのです。今、モスクワで世界平和青年運動の組織を編成しようとしています。そうして、超国家的に思想を超越して、青 年運動を展開するのです。これは、大学原理研究会だけではできません。社会基盤がないので、大学を中心として、同窓生たちを束ねるのです。同窓生と学生 は、カインとアベルです。彼らを束ねて組織をつくり、世界的に大運動を展開しさえすれば、急進的な発展を遂げることができます。ですから、お母様と「世界 平和女性連合」と学生連合が、一つにならなければなません。

Chambumo Gyeong - 381. Opening the way for CARP

To transfer to Korea True Parents' worldwide victorious realm, as well as connect it to the worldwide peace movement and North-South unification, True Mother went on a speaking tour to 40 Korean university campuses from October 4-31,1993. This tour alleviated the contentious relationships between CARP and political activist groups on campuses, provided an opportunity for mutual understanding and dialogue, and led to a series of seminars and exchanges of professors and students from both Koreas.


1 The question of who will lead the young people in the future is a global one. The first generation of Israelites wandered in the wilderness for 40 years and died there. The world has now reached an era similar to the time when the second generation of Israelites entered Canaan and found what they had hoped for. The surviving second generation had to construct a nation and a world with a philosophy of nationbuilding and world peace, and accomplish what the first generation of the Israelite tribes could not. The Unification Church must restore this through indemnity. All these issues depend on women. They depend on mothers, who play an important role. (259-287, 1994/04/17)
 
2 From now on, mothers have to properly educate their children. The Israelite mothers who entered the land of Canaan, as well as their sons and daughters, were influenced by the people who were already there. Unable to preserve their own religious traditions, they failed to establish the kingdom in Israel. In order to restore this through indemnity, mothers have to imbue the traditional ideas of our church into the second generation so that they will establish heaven on earth instead of being influenced by Satan's world. This will reverse the failures of the past. After mothers and their children become one, how do they establish the kingdom in Israel? That is their mission. The Israelite mothers failed to think about this. They, together with their sons and daughters, followed in the footsteps of the seven tribes of Canaan. That was their grave mistake.

We must go the opposite way. Mothers, sons, and daughters must unite in establishing the heavenly kingdom. Mothers have to educate their children so that they can have an influence on their university communities. Hence, after women of the world become second selves of True Mother, they must turn their children around 180 degrees, even if they have to hold onto them and not let them go. To achieve that, you have to do the same as True Mother, who went on a speaking tour of 256 venues over the two years following 1992. You have to save your relatives and your nation. This is not some vague notion but a real problem. What is real is that I fought for 40 years searching for a heavenly nation. I gave speeches in the United States in order to pass the baton to Mother, who went on to influence the university communities. Mothers have to rescue the second generation, their offspring. 3 Centering on Mother, CARP is in the position of Abel, and the political activists on university campuses are in the position of Cain. Mother must manage the dispute between Cain and Abel. The right-wing and left-wing activists of South Korea have to unite and stand in the Abel position, and then unite with North Korean students, who are in Cains position. Then all will end well. It does not matter how much people in positions of authority oppose this. On the day when the young people unite with Mother, the fortune of unification will visit this land. We have no choice but to do this, as herein lies the fortune of heaven. Now is the time to light an unquenchable fire in their young, glowing hearts. (267-239, 1995/01/08)
 
4 Mother delivered speeches to the US Congress and the United Nations General Assembly and received resounding ovations. The United Nations is the congress of the free world. She also achieved great victories in the Eve nation, Japan. On Korean university campuses, political activist groups had kicked out CARP, but Mother turned the situation around all over the country. This was the restoration of the elder son's birthright. Although previously Christians had united with campus activists to defeat the Unification Church, the situation has now been reversed. The right has become the left, and the left has become the right. By siding with the Unification Church, former communist powers are coming to the heavenly side. The first shall be last, and the last shall be first. (274-291, 1995/11/03)
 
5 Mother shouldered a great responsibility when she had to stand on the front line for three years, from 1992 until 1995. The number 3 is a number of separation from Satan. That was the separation period, starting in America and progressing to the United Nations, to Japan, and to the world. She went on a speaking tour of 40 universities throughout Korea, connecting them to 40 nations in the world. They represented Cain and Abel centering on Parents. Finally on the world level, Mother stood in a position equal with me. I had passed on all my victories to Mother. At the end of World War II the world did not welcome me but chased me out, but now in the second course for the dispensation of restoration, the True Family was welcomed worldwide. 6 From now on, you have to focus on witnessing to your family and relatives, middle and high school students, and college students. Now is the age of the second generation. The people of Israel turned a deaf ear to Moses. Before the landing in Canaan, Moses and all of the first generation people perished. However, I have landed together with the second generation. This land belongs to the second generation, so I feel responsible for them. Mother and the sons and daughters of True Parents' family are conducting a speaking tour not only of 100 universities in the United States but also of 3,300 universities throughout the world. Starting in Japan, I must bring together all the world's students. It is my responsibility to win the hearts of young people from age 16, when Adam and Eve fell, to 21 and, adding another three years, to 24. The time for this has come. (260-088, 1994/04/11)
 
7 The Unification Church stands in the position of Abel to other churches. Thus, Christianity cannot invade the victorious Unification Church, which has reclaimed the elder son's birthright. Their position is similar to that of Esau, who could not strike Jacob because he had wrestled with the angel at the ford of the Jabbok River and subjugated him.

Mother delivered a speech at the US Congress and also reached out to embrace university communities in Korea. CARP had been forcefully expelled from some universities by student activists, but Mother turned this around and CARP was reinstated. She spoke at 40 universities at a time when the North-South relationship was sour; it was a case of Abel seeking Cain. With the end of opposition to CARP, things began to change on the campuses. Mother knew it was a very difficult task, but she urged CARP members on.

On the basis of Cain uniting with Abel, South Korean students saw an opportunity to hold exchange programs with North Korean students. Beginning with the International Student Leaders' Seminar in Moscow, CARP sponsored Korean university student leaders' training seminars in Washington and a North-South Korean university students' seminar in Beijing. Empowered by the name of True Parents, CARP took the lead in guiding North Korean students, who were in the Cain position, as well as South Korean student activists. (270-206, 1995/06/01)
 
8 Mother conducted a speaking tour of 40 Korean university campuses to inspire college students. We must educate the political activists on university campuses. I intend to take them to Russia for 21-day workshops. We have many Unification Church members there. We will take them to Moscow for just three weeks of education and show them around, and then they will all go back home. If we gather students from North Korea, South Korea, Russia and China, we will be able to form a federation that can confront communist ideology in Asia.

Communism is doomed to collapse, anyway. It has already collapsed in Russia, and that is happening in China as well. We are going to teach them Unification Thought, which is a counterproposal to communism. We need to pave the way for North Korean students. This will be the quickest way. From the providential viewpoint, students from the Korean Peninsula represent Cain and Abel, and when they unite, their parents will unite as well. (248-229, 1993/10/01)
 
9 Mother's speeches at 40 Korean universities were meant to separate the student social activists from the Christians and persuade the activists to unite with us. From the perspective of providential history, this is required in the indemnity course. With Mother at the center, CARP students and student political activists must lay the foundation again on college campuses.

If student social activists in South Korea are regarded as being in Abel's position, those in North Korea are in Cain's position. South Korean student political activists appear red externally, but are white internally. In contrast, North Korean students are totally red, inside and out. We are taking South Korean student political activists and North Korean students to Moscow and training them. Pro-North Korean and pro-South Korean students in Japan will also participate in the workshops. Students from the United States, China, and the former Soviet Union will band together with the South Korean students, and as a group they will assimilate the students from North Korea. We have done our best to inform the North about these workshops. In Moscow, we are organizing the Youth Federation for World Peace. An international youth movement that transcends ideologies is unfolding.

You should not rely on CARP alone to do it. As we do not have a foundation in society, you have to gather and unite college alumni. Alumni and current students have a Cain-Abel relationship. Things can only progress rapidly if you bind together several groups and set up an organization to undertake large scale worldwide activity.
