The theme of "Road" seems to have a lonely and unfamiliar fear.
Only those who know how it feels to retire after finishing the Ten Kings
Award, which they have been running for two months. The text tells the
story of Jehoshaphat, king of Judah in the South and Ahaziah, king of
Israel in the North. Jehoshaphat did an honest deed before the Lord and
went to the path of Ahab, but Ahaziah did evil.
-
Jehoshavat's rating is generally positive. Above all, he records that he did
honestly before Jehovah (43). He wiped out his father Asa's only removal
of the temple men's windows. Mistakes didn't get rid of the acid. When
Jehoshaphat ruled, he established a peaceful relationship with North Israel
without war.
-
Of course, it is because his son, Jehoram, and Adalya, daughter of Ahab,
got married, but Jehoshaphat stood right before God, so I think he would
have avoided war or strife for the brotherly country. At that time, Edom
had no king and regent king (47). Regent king is a word about a king, a
surrogate ruler.
-
At that time Edom was under Judah's control. So the regent of Edom is
assumed to have been founded by Jehoshaphat. Judas' control of Edom
means wealth creation. Because regent Edom was able to take control
of the subject and maritime trade with Arabia. Jehoshaphat refused
Ahaziah's offer to join him in the business of getting gold to Obil through
Darth's ship.
-
In other words, he refused to participate in the Red Sea maritime trade.
In fact, it was an irresistible situation in terms of the national power of
Judah and Israel. However, he did not want such a thing because he judged
that the ship was a disciplinary action from God. It's a warning of cooperation
with kings like Ahab and Ahaziah.
-
It was also an international business that could be linked to Phoenician, the
center of maritime trade, and could benefit greatly from doing high-risk work
alone. There must also have been a situation in which Israel's national power
was very weakened during the Ahashiah era. The text contrasts sharply with
the two kings. Both were Israelis living in Palestine. And they were both kings.
-
But I don't know why I lived such a different life even in the same environment
and conditions. One person was written in the Bible as a good king and another
as an evil king. There must have been a clear reason why contemporaries,
peoples, customs, and traditions were quite different while living in the same
land. The difference between the two kings is more evident than anything else
in the words 'In front of the Lord.'
-
Jehoshaphat was honest before Jehovah. But Ahaziah did evil by Jehovah.
That doesn't mean that you worshiped carefully in front of Jehovah. It's because
I can offer sacrifices even though I don't have a heart. The key is whether the
center was on God. "Did you live according to God's will?" Because honesty
means the inside and the outside are the same
-
Then Jehoshaphat and Ahaziah both followed their father's path, Jehoshaphat
following his father's good ways, and Ahaziah followed his father's evil deeds.
On the contrary, he did worse than his father. Ahashiah was originally called an
evil human being, and Jehoshaphat and his father Asaiah were not well
understood. Because they didn't go the way of their ancestors.
-
Most people follow what they see and learn. I don't think their models are ancestors.
Fortunately, in Judah in the Southern Kingdom, such kings come out as if they were
in a drought. I think it's God's great grace. If they were all evil kings, there would be
no Israeli history left. I am glad that Jehoshaphat went to the good king's father's
way, and there is a clue in the text.
-
It's none other than his mother's name. Her mother's name was Asubaro Silhi's
daughter. He was an Orthodox Israeli who served God. Scholars say that Judas's
family is from a prestigious uninhabited background in his father's name. Meanwhile,
Ahashiya's mother's name is also mentioned. This is Sebel. She was the princess
of Phoenician Sidon. He was a man of the country who served Baal and Asherah.
-
What's interesting is that Ahashiah recorded three paths when he introduced them
in the Bible. These are the paths of his father Ahab, of his mother Jezebel, and of
Jeroboam, the first king of the Northern Kingdom who made the golden calf. It means
that I did what I saw growing up, and I did what I learned. It means that I lived as I
came down. Children are said to be like blank paper.
-
It's drawn just as it is what it's drawn. If you draw a circle, it becomes a circle. If you
draw a square, it becomes a square. As if my younger brother imitates my brother.
When you get married, you become a parent to a family, whether you want it or not.
Also, we are children who serve our parents, who we don't want. Parents' mission
is to be respected by their children. I think the mission of a child is to be recognized
by parents.
-
I don't think anything else means much. Because nothing is more precious than
that. That's the only time you can hand over the money. I recognize that I am a
rich father and mother, but I do not remember it as a respectful parent. I think
the best way to achieve it is to live well before Jehovah. What is the relationship
between parents' faith and children's faith? How long am I going to stick to the
theory of happiness with gold spoon?

God who evaluates the conduct of the kings, Through the Book of Yeolwang,
they saw the history of the two different kingdoms. I have seen the results
of prosperity and decline at the end of David's path, Jeroboam's path, the
path of faith, and the path of distrust, so please take the rest of my life and
do not give up on living like Nabot.
