■ 직무 요약 :
We are looking for any candidates who are very innovative and creative player in the Actuarial Pricing. Currently we are in the middle of jumping up to the next stage to make more innovative and sophisticated GLM (Generalized Linear Model) system and process. Anyone who is able to easily learn and adapt to the new environment could apply for this position. We have the long term strategy for all pricing actuarial students to be exposed to any business lines. We also need any senior actuarial crew who has a solid educational background regarding actuarial science and its related subjects. One of the challenging parts is that the candidate should be able to participate in the global initiatives to catch up and collaborate to make our entity be the leader in the market.
■ 직무 내용 :
Market Pricing:
• Regularly monitor the KPIs and perform the rate filing to increase the net premium or rebalancing(off-balancing) if necessary
• Maintain and upgrade the database to be in line with pricing activities
• Maintain and develop the analytics to produce some diagnostics
• Manage and train the junior actuarial students while letting them perform the duties
GLM Model maintenance and enhancement
• Regularly assist running the model and monitoring the financial result by market segments to make sure that the GLM model keeps the prediction power
• Base on the monitoring results, assist enhancing the models to reflect those changes in the market
• Participate in the Big data projects and assist inserting new variables in the model
• Assist creating the conversion and renewal models to create the demand curve
Ad-hoc support:
• Help the traditional ratemaking for the rate increase and off-balancing to get an approval from FSS
• Update the knowledge set and technical specialties to keep up with the global actuarial practice in the AGD and industry

■ SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelor degree or above (e.g. Mathematics, Statistics and Actuarial Science are preferred)
• At least 5 years of experience in the actuarial fields or Masters/PhD. Degree majored in Statistics, Actuarial Science or related fields in case of less than 5 years of experience
• Korean Actuarial License and some CAS(SOA) exams could be a good assets
• Good at communicating with the different stakeholders internally or externally
• Fairly good understanding about the regulatory environment in Korea
• Must be a proactive and innovative player in terms of the actuarial technical modeling
• Must be good at the technical programming including the SAS, EXCEL/ACCESS VBA or any other complicating process or template in an actuarial field
