Today, I'll review a storybook called "Super Sneakers." Let's begin!
The story is about Banseok, the smallest and least athletic boy in his class. He often gets bullied by a boy named Seongwoo. One day, Seongwoo tricks Banseok into cleaning the classroom, even though it wasn't his turn. After finishing, Banseok finds a pair of strange sneakers. When he wears them, he suddenly grows taller and stronger.
On his way home, Banseok sees a kid being bullied and uses his newfound strength to help. The kid turns out to be Seongwoo. Later, a tiny boy named Lenny appears, asking for the sneakers back. Lenny puts them on and promises to help Banseok. When Banseok returns home, his regular shoes are there, even though he left them at school. The next day, with Lenny's support, Banseok plays soccer with Seongwoo.
Banseok wishes to wear the sneakers and be taller like his friends. The story shows how being strong isn't just about physical abilities but also standing up to bullies and making friends.
