Contents that Eliphaz advises by first to Jop have been published to Job Chapter4:1~21 “1Then Eliphaz the Temanite answered and said, 2If we assay to commune with thee, wilt thou be grieved? but who can withhold himself from speaking? 3Behold, thou hast instructed many, and thou hast strengthened the weak hands. 4Thy words have upholden him that was falling, and thou hast strengthened the feeble knees. 5But now it is come upon thee, and thou faintest; it toucheth thee, and thou art troubled. 6Is not this thy fear, thy confidence, thy hope, and the uprightness of thy ways? 7Remember, I pray thee, who ever perished, being innocent? or where were the righteous cut off? 8Even as I have seen, they that plow iniquity, and sow wickedness, reap the same. 9By the blast of God they perish, and by the breath of his nostrils are they consumed. 10The roaring of the lion, and the voice of the fierce lion, and the teeth of the young lions, are broken. 11The old lion perisheth for lack of prey, and the stout lion's whelps are scattered abroad. 12Now a thing was secretly brought to me, and mine ear received a little thereof. 13In thoughts from the visions of the night, when deep sleep falleth on men, 14Fear came upon me, and trembling, which made all my bones to shake. 15Then a spirit passed before my face; the hair of my flesh stood up: 16It stood still, but I could not discern the form thereof: an image was before mine eyes, there was silence, and I heard a voice, saying, 17Shall mortal man be more just than God? shall a man be more pure than his maker? 18Behold, he put no trust in his servants; and his angels he charged with folly: 19How much less in them that dwell in houses of clay, whose foundation is in the dust, which are crushed before the moth? 20They are destroyed from morning to evening: they perish for ever without any regarding it. 21Doth not their excellency which is in them go away? they die, even without wisdom.” and Chapter5:1~27 “1Call now, if there be any that will answer thee; and to which of the saints wilt thou turn? 2For wrath killeth the foolish man, and envy slayeth the silly one. 3I have seen the foolish taking root: but suddenly I cursed his habitation. 4His children are far from safety, and they are crushed in the gate, neither is there any to deliver them. 5Whose harvest the hungry eateth up, and taketh it even out of the thorns, and the robber swalloweth up their substance. 6Although affliction cometh not forth of the dust, neither doth trouble spring out of the ground; 7Yet man is born unto trouble, as the sparks fly upward. 8I would seek unto God, and unto God would I commit my cause: 9Which doeth great things and unsearchable; marvellous things without number: 10Who giveth rain upon the earth, and sendeth waters upon the fields: 11To set up on high those that be low; that those which mourn may be exalted to safety. 12He disappointeth the devices of the crafty, so that their hands cannot perform their enterprise. 13He taketh the wise in their own craftiness: and the counsel of the froward is carried headlong. 14They meet with darkness in the day time, and grope in the noonday as in the night. 15But he saveth the poor from the sword, from their mouth, and from the hand of the mighty. 16So the poor hath hope, and iniquity stoppeth her mouth. 17Behold, happy is the man whom God correcteth: therefore despise not thou the chastening of the Almighty: 18For he maketh sore, and bindeth up: he woundeth, and his hands make whole. 19He shall deliver thee in six troubles: yea, in seven there shall no evil touch thee. 20In famine he shall redeem thee from death: and in war from the power of the sword. 21Thou shalt be hid from the scourge of the tongue: neither shalt thou be afraid of destruction when it cometh. 22At destruction and famine thou shalt laugh: neither shalt thou be afraid of the beasts of the earth. 23For thou shalt be in league with the stones of the field: and the beasts of the field shall be at peace with thee. 24And thou shalt know that thy tabernacle shall be in peace; and thou shalt visit thy habitation, and shalt not sin. 25Thou shalt know also that thy seed shall be great, and thine offspring as the grass of the earth. 26Thou shalt come to thy grave in a full age, like as a shock of corn cometh in in his season. 27Lo this, we have searched it, so it is; hear it, and know thou it for thy good.”, under stand each other(1~2 ) in contents or vein that advise of second that appear in the contents or today text. But, the contents is high intensity than advice that is said to Chapter4:1~21 “1Then Eliphaz the Temanite answered and said, 2If we assay to commune with thee, wilt thou be grieved? but who can withhold himself from speaking? 21Doth not their excellency which is in them go away? they die, even without wisdom.”and Chapter5:1~27 “1Call now, if there be any that will answer thee; and to which of the saints wilt thou turn? 27Lo this, we have searched it, so it is; hear it, and know thou it for thy good.”. Perhaps, when Jop argues that yourselves is mortified, I am seen become excitement (Gyeok) much more on talk of this Jop. Eliphaz who hear story that Jop does speaks "Stop ignorant talk. Mention idle words" to Jop(2~3 2Should a wise man utter vain knowledge, and fill his belly with the east wind? 3Should he reason with unprofitable talk? or with speeches wherewith he can do no good?).east wind (speech which fill east wind) in his abdomen meaning that fill vain wind for times be. East wind of Near East area thought as unnecessary to be a hot wind that cause damage preferably to crops. Then words that Jop does talk that is showing guilt of Jop better preferably(4~6 4 Yea, thou castest off fear, and restrainest prayer before God. 5For thy mouth uttereth thine iniquity, and thou choosest the tongue of the crafty. 6Thine own mouth condemneth thee, and not I: yea, thine own lips testify against thee.). It is own that the itself is a godlessness(patroclinous) Seureoun that to God that reveal is rightful in front of God boldly(4Yea, thou castest off fear, and restrainest prayer before God.). Jop exposes crime of Jop better preferably as assert own relationship.
Eliphaz scolds to Jop “Do you pretend to know so that lived how if you lived human life?” three friends that come (7~10 7Art thou the first man that was born? or wast thou made before the hills? 8Hast thou heard the secret of God? and dost thou restrain wisdom to thyself? 9What knowest thou, that we know not? what understandest thou, which is not in us? 10With us are both the grayheaded and very aged men, much elder than thy father.). perhaps, Jop seemed to be many in years than Jop. Is seen by that that Paragraph 10 “With us are both the grayheaded and very aged men, much elder than thy father.” is friends of Jop seeing speak that there is man that there are a lot of in yearses than your father, but person nearly the same age as another is many people than Jop. with “In years that the young thing knows so something” similar. I speak human life by pattern that do not know something living incompletely yet. Eliphaz blames that broke anger stares and protests eyes to God about words that Jop does(12~13 12Why doth thine heart carry thee away? and what do thy eyes wink at, 13That thou turnest thy spirit against God, and lettest such words go out of thy mouth?). Rightful God will think to deny(不淨) something holy and perfect, how feeble man can be rightful in front of God and man talks that is a being that can not have doctor who is worth in front of God(14~16 14 What is man, that he should be clean? and he which is born of a woman, that he should be righteous? 15Behold, he putteth no trust in his saints; yea, the heavens are not clean in his sight. 16How much more abominable and filthy is man, which drinketh iniquity like water?).
Eliphaz's talk is no wrong speech either. However, Eliphaz does not have sincere ancient temple how God evaluates Jop. Only, I judge God punishes as had taken crime about suffering and pain that Jop encounters. By the way, Eliphaz has become expose himself that himself is a justification than Jop if Jop encounters severe pain and suffering so from crime if consider silently.
This can not but be inconsistency. Said that is hard that God finds this justification on society about Jop, then seeing that is rightfuler than Jop even if have lived as Eliphaz is rightful however is difficult. By the way, Eliphaz is come on rightful conclusion that grow up relatively while himself does not know if Eliphaz blames that is that Jop encounters suffering from own crime. Conclusion Eliphaz stands in comparative advantage than Jop, as even speak that annual ring(Yearnyun) accumulated as even speak that there are a lot of in yearses. Our church community is apt to take bearing such as Eliphaz when anguish and pain, other man of other man see encountering calamitysuffering etc. at the slightest slip. So, I am thought a less better person than them, and am apt to commit crime of pride at the slightest slip while do not know nard. That when talk event that towers of Shloam collapses to Luke13:1~35 “1 There were present at that season some that told him of the Galilaeans, whose blood Pilate had mingled with their sacrifices. 2And Jesus answering said unto them, Suppose Church community that these Galilaeans were sinners above all the Galilaeans, because they suffered such things? 3I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, Church community shall all likewise perish. 4Or those eighteen, upon whom the tower in Siloam fell, and slew them, think Church community that they were sinners above all men that dwelt in Jerusalem? 5I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, Church community shall all likewise perish. 6Church community spake also this parable; A certain man had a fig tree planted in his vineyard; and he came and sought fruit thereon, and found none. 7Then said he unto the dresser of Church community vineyard, Behold, these three years I come seeking fruit on this fig tree, and find none: cut it down; why cumbereth it the ground? 8And Church community answering said unto him, Lord, let it alone this year also, till I shall dig about it, and dung it: 9And if it bear fruit, well: and if not, then after that thou shalt cut it down. 10And he was teaching in one of the synagogues on the sabbath. 11And, behold, there was a woman which had a spirit of infirmity eighteen years, and was bowed together, and could in no wise lift up herself. 12And when Jesus saw her, he called her to him, and said unto her, Woman, thou art loosed from thine infirmity. 13And he laid his hands on her: and immediately she was made straight, and glorified God. 14And the ruler of the synagogue answered with indignation, because that Jesus had healed on the sabbath day, and said unto the people, There are six days in which men ought to work: in them therefore come and be healed, and not on the sabbath day. 15The Lord then answered Church community, and said, Thou hypocrite, doth not each one of you on the sabbath loose his ox or his ass from the stall, and lead him away to watering? 16And ought not this woman, being a daughter of Abraham, whom Satan hath bound, lo, these eighteen years, be loosed from this bond on the sabbath day? 17And when he had said these things, all his adversaries were ashamed: and all the people rejoiced for all the glorious things that were done by him. 18Then said he, Unto what is the kingdom of God like? and whereunto shall I resemble it? 19It is like a grain of mustard seed, which a man took, and cast into his garden; and it grew, and waxed a great tree; and the fowls of the air lodged in the branches of it. 20And again he said, Whereunto shall I liken the kingdom of God? 21It is like leaven, which a woman took and hid in three measures of meal, till the whole was leavened. 22And Church community went through the cities and villages, teaching, and journeying toward Jerusalem. 23Then said one unto him, Lord, are there few that be saved? And Church community said unto them, 24Strive to enter in at the strait gate: for many, I say unto Church community, will seek to enter in, and shall not be able. 25When once the master of the house is risen up, and hath shut to the door, and ye begin to stand without, and to knock at the door, saying, Lord, Lord, open unto us; and Church community shall answer and say unto you, I know you not whence ye are: 26Then shall Church community begin to say, We have eaten and drunk in thy presence, and thou hast taught in our streets. 27But he shall say, I tell Church community, I know Church community not whence ye are; depart from me, all ye workers of iniquity. 28There shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth, when ye shall see Abraham, and Isaac, and Jacob, and all the prophets, in the kingdom of God, and you yourselves thrust out. 29And they shall come from the east, and from the west, and from the north, and from the south, and shall sit down in the kingdom of God. 30And, behold, there are last which shall be first, and there are first which shall be last. 31The same day there came certain of the Pharisees, saying unto him, Get thee out, and depart hence: for Herod will kill thee. 32And he said unto them, Go Church community, and tell that fox, Behold, I cast out devils, and I do cures to day and to morrow, and the third day I shall be perfected. 33Nevertheless I must walk to day, and to morrow, and the day following: for it cannot be that a prophet perish out of Jerusalem. 34O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, which killest the prophets, and stonest them that are sent unto thee; how often would I have gathered thy children together, as a hen doth gather her brood under her wings, and ye would not! 35Behold, Church community house is left unto you desolate: and verily I say unto you, Ye shall not see me, until the time come when ye shall say, Blessed is he that cometh in the name of the Lord.” and eighteen people hit Jesus knows that those deads have crime more than other everyone, Doemuleusi were recorded contents. We are easy to have bearing of Naeronambul [I am phrase in vogue make up of word-for-word translation of meaning that is immorality if done romance, south does]. Need examine seriously when apply the word to other people even if it is correct word. Before know deeply circumstance of those people properly too much easily, speak rashly can become advice that is wrong preferably, advice that must not do. Persons who convey word specially need to observe this member more circumspectly. Circumstance of man differing by lamp own own place or in years, attainments in scholarship etc.. not to commit error that judge easily too much in the camp do.
- Job15:1 ~ among Paragraph 16 morning contemplations ~
1Then answered Eliphaz the Temanite, and said, 2Should a wise man utter vain knowledge, and fill his belly with the east wind? 3Should he reason with unprofitable talk? or with speeches wherewith he can do no good? 4Yea, thou castest off fear, and restrainest prayer before God. 5For thy mouth uttereth thine iniquity, and thou choosest the tongue of the crafty. 6Thine own mouth condemneth thee, and not I: yea, thine own lips testify against thee. 7Art thou the first man that was born? or wast thou made before the hills? 8Hast thou heard the secret of God? and dost thou restrain wisdom to thyself? 9What knowest thou, that we know not? what understandest thou, which is not in us? 10With us are both the grayheaded and very aged men, much elder than thy father. 11Are the consolations of God small with thee? is there any secret thing with thee? 12Why doth thine heart carry thee away? and what do thy eyes wink at, 13That thou turnest thy spirit against God, and lettest such words go out of thy mouth? 14What is man, that he should be clean? and he which is born of a woman, that he should be righteous? 15Behold, he putteth no trust in his saints; yea, the heavens are not clean in his sight. 16How much more abominable and filthy is man, which drinketh iniquity like water?
