Overview of the position:
Organization: Kore Development Advisors
Business/Department: Advisory Services/International Cooperation
(could be dispatched to client companies as needed)
Location: Seoul, South Korea & Latin America Country (due to the nature of our Advisory Services, we require our staff to live abroad outside of the U.S.)
Language(s): Fluency in English required; knowledge of Korean and/or Spanish is desirable.

Salary range: To be negotiated based on specific and relevant experience
* Manager $90,000 ~ $120,000 (+12 years)
* Associate $48,000 ~ $90,000 ( +5 years)

We are looking for talented individuals who can lead project identification and preparation activities. This is a unique opportunity to support the immediate and strategic development agenda of Latin American countries as well as to identify and develop transformational, cross-cutting projects, share knowledge, and build capacities across inter-related themes.
Responsibilities:
i. Project identification, preparation and implementation across various sectors;
ii. Draft and provide insightful technical recommendations on project proposals/activities;
iii. Prepare and write briefs and program notes;
iv. Serve as subject matter expert and keep up to date on related trends and news;
v. Response to issues that arise in implementation;
vi. Analyze and assess program and or project performance;
Qualifications:
1. Advanced degree(s) (Masters) in a relevant field, including but not limited to business administration, economics, telecommunications, technology, project finance, transportation, energy, public policy, public administration, international relations, international development etc.
2. Minimum 2 years of relevant project development within MDBs, international organizations, consulting firms, or International Development Think-Tanks.
3. Experience in developing and implementing sectoral projects and strategies on the ground preferred
4. Expert knowledge of project management
5. Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to work under pressure and with a wide range of internal and external partners
6. High degree of motivation, initiative, flexibility, reliability, and responsiveness to changing demands.
7. Meticulous attention to detail and advanced organizational skills.
8. Demonstrated capacity for strategic thinking.
9. Demonstrated interpersonal and diplomatic skills.
10. Demonstrated capacity to develop and manage task plans and budgets.
11. Experience in building partnerships is a significant advantage
12. Professionalism and demonstrated experience working with clients
13. Proven ability to work effectively in a dynamic environment.
14. Superb written and oral communication skills. Proficiency in Korean and or Spanish is desirable.
