A: How did you meet Emily?/ B: A blind date. I fell in love at first sight./ A: So romantic./ B: I know!
A: You look happy!/ B: I'm head over heels./ A: Tell me what happened./ B: Well, it's a long story.
A: I really like Mike./ B: Really?/ A: Should I ask him out?/ B: You should!
A: Brad is the one!/ B: Brad? Are you serious?/ A: I am./ B: I'm happy for you.
A: Mom and dad are so cute./ B: Yes! They are lovey-dovey./ A: They're like a pair of love birds./ B: They really are.
A: How come they don't bring us water?
B: Oh, the sign says,"Water is self-serve."
A: That's interesting. So, we have to get it ourselves.
B: That's right. In Korea, it's common for customers to pour their own water.
A: And there's no tipping in Korean restaurants, right?
B: Exactly. Tipping isn't customary in Korea.
A: I'm amazed at how convenient this cashierless store is.
B: I know. We just pick what we want and walk out without waiting in line.
A: It's a time-saver, isn't it?
B: Totally. I love how quick and easy it is.
A: On the weekend, I usually have to wait in line for a good ten minutes to check out! What a hassle!
A: Happy Valentine's Day,Mina. Any plans for today?
B: You, too, Tom. I'm going on a date with my boyfriend. I hope he surprises me with something nice.
A: That sounds lovely. I'll be video chatting with my girlfriend in LA.
B: Long-distance relationships must be tough, but you two seem to be going so strong. I think that's just great.
A: So how was your date last night?
B: Oh, don't even ask. We're on the verge of breaking up.
A: What? what happened?
B: He said something came up at work and kept me waiting for two hours!
A: Oh, I'm sorry.
B: I got so upset that I couldn't eat at all. So, we ended up arguing throughout the dinner.
A: So, how's everything with you and your boyfriend after that argument?
B: Well, it's actually better now. We talked things through, and I decided to forgive him.
A: Wow, what changed your mind?
B: I realized I still love him so much, so I decided to be more understanding.
A: It's good to see you two back together.
