홍중~씨,
Congratulations on attending the Balmain presentation! Were you overjoyed to meet Olivier Rousteing and to be in the Balmain atelier? I can only imagine how happy your heart is, even now. You were absolutely glowing in every interview and photo from the event. What was your favorite part of attending the presentation? I look forward to hearing more about your experience!
There truly is no one like you! You’re a fashion icon in every sense. You show cool styles in your daily outfits, stage costumes, and public events like the Balmain presentation. I thought you were gorgeous in both your tan coat and black outfit. All eyes were on you though because you shined with confidence in a way that made it impossible to look away. I can’t wait for the fashion world to see you the way Atiny have all this time. You’re an inspiration!
I hope in the future that you can become an official Balmain ambassador since you’re a true fan of the designer. How cool would it be for you to design something alongside him? You have a great sense of fashion and an eye for unique styles. I think it would be incredible to see a Hongjoong x Balmain collaboration. I know Atiny would support you.
Whatever you aspire for, in fashion or in your life, please let Atiny know. You say you only have these opportunities because of Atiny. Well, then let us give you more. Our love for you is infinite and our dedication to helping you reach your dreams is infinite too. We will work hard to get you recognition for your hard work as our captain. All the sleepless nights and long hours you put in were not for nothing. You deserve everything you dream of and we will get it for you.
You mentioned in your live about working hard to be a cool person for Atiny. I don’t think you have to work hard at all. You’re the coolest person just by being yourself. From making your own music, performing with Ateez, loving geese, and reforming your clothing, everything you do is so cool. I can only dream of having a fraction of your coolness.
I might be biased, but I think you’re stunningly beautiful too, especially when you share your bare face. I think you’re so cool when you wear makeup, but your inner beauty shines brighter when we see your truest self. Of course, I wouldn’t want you to show your bare face if you aren’t comfortable with it. Your comfort is more important than Atiny’s or my preferences. If you’re self-conscious about acne, it’s okay to feel that way. Atiny and Ateez both suffer from skin problems, so you aren’t alone in your struggle. We can get through it together.
I wanted to focus more on the things that make you super cool, like the music you produce. The song you made for Atiny vlogs is really fun! It makes me curious about other songs you’ve produced. I hope we can hear them someday when you’re ready to share them. I really loved Draw & Draw. It’s such a sweet song and you can really hear your love for music through each note.
Your Lemon Tree cover came out quite a while ago but I believe it was your most recent full production. I’d actually never heard that song before your cover. Now, it seems like I hear that song everywhere. You did a magnificent job capturing a feeling of melancholy. Your beautiful vocals made the song more emotional than ever before. It made my heart hurt at the thought of you being so sad, especially seeing your eye makeup where it looked like you had been crying.
Your cinematic approach to the video added so many layers of meaning that every time I watch it, I get something new from the experience. Having the lemon fall off the tree and bounce off your head at the end was very clever as well. I never would have thought of emulating Newton’s work like that. It really goes to show the dedication and depth of knowledge you apply to your work. I greatly admire that about you.
I know you’ve been very busy with schedules, producing, and going on tour. Would you consider doing another cover sometime this year? Your creativity and talent are endless. I’d love the chance to speak with you again someday to talk about your music covers and your creative process. I was so nervous meeting you for the first time before that I forgot everything I wanted to say. Hopefully, I’ll get it right next time.
Speaking of cool projects, do you miss doing Idol Radio with Yunho? I didn’t watch many of them, since they happened while I was sleeping, but I enjoyed seeing the clips on social media. Most importantly, I loved seeing how happy you were. What was it like to try something new? Would you ever go back to Idol Radio? I guess I’m very curious about what it was like to host so many other artists and your perspective on the experience.
Plus, the ending video of you and Yunho, where you hold hands and sing Boyfriend by Justin Bieber, makes me smile from ear to ear. You’re both so silly and I love that about you.
You also just ended your tour in Europe! I hope you had a wonderful time sightseeing and enjoying various European cultures. While I couldn’t attend, it was fun watching Ateez perform through clips online. It reminded me of seeing you all on stage in the US and my heart filled with happiness. I can’t wait to see you and Ateez again. Let’s make lots of great memories together in the future, especially on tour.
It seems to be a lot of ending moments lately but as one door closes, another opens. I’m excited to see all the things you have coming up for the rest of this year. I know Ateez will impress me no matter what, but I can’t help but anticipate your future endeavors.
I realize I never got to tell you happy 4th anniversary of Ateez. Even though that was several months ago, I can’t help but think of our time together passing by so quickly. It’s weird to think how far you’ve come in such a short time. These memories are the kind where I look back on them and my heart hurts because it’s so full of happiness. While I have bittersweet feelings about time passing me by, I’m glad I passed it with you. It’s almost my 5th anniversary supporting Ateez as well. Let’s hope for another wonderful five years together. Please know that I’m always cheering for you and sending positive energy your way.
I’d like to share one update about my life with you. I was accepted into my dream program for Graduate School. I’m making my dream of becoming an Art Therapist come true. While I have a lot of people in my life to thank for supporting me, I also want to thank you. It took me a long time to build up the courage to apply for the program and the process was very long. On days I wanted to give up, I would listen to Sunrise to encourage myself to keep going. Thank you for writing a beautiful and inspiring song. Thank you for giving me hope.
You once said, “did I teach you to dream small?” I carry this motto with me in all that I do, as motivation to keep aspiring for more. Seeing you achieve your dreams inspires me to reach for mine. Thank you for helping me on my long journey and for being a source of strength to me. I will work hard to make the world a better place and to be an Atiny that you can be proud of. Let’s keep reaching for our dreams together.
With love,Natasha
