Roa is the loveliest dog who has a sweet face and makes adorable gestures.
From our experience, her fur color (yellow-brown with a black mouth) is not many people’s favorite, so when we first met her, we worried that this was going to be an uphill battle for her.
But we still have hope that the right family is out there for her somewhere because she’s such an adorable, smart puppy!
🧡Name: Roa
🌸Sex: Female (Non-Spayed, still too young for surgery)
🌸Weight: About 10kg
🌸Age: Est. 6months
🌸Dogsonality: Due to her still being just a puppy, she can be a little scared but it doesn’t take long for her to be friendly.
🌸Breed: Jindo Mix
📌Current place where she lives: Mapo, Seoul
📌Vaccine: 3rd round completed
📌Parvovirus infection/Coronaviral enteritis/Giardia intestinalis: Negative
📌Heartworm: Negative
📌Potty-Training: She can do go to the bathroom both indoors and outdoors.
📌Barking Issues: None
📌Biting Issues: As a puppy, she grinds her teeth and likes to chew on things, but you can give her toys as a replacement.
📌Separation Anxiety: None
🍀 Dogsonality:
Despite how timid she may seem, she’s really quite coy and wants to be friendly.
She avoids my hand when she feels drowsy, but she always comes close to me and sleeps around my feet. When I work in the kitchen, for example, she always sits next to my feet to relax.
Recently when she finds me in the morning, she swings her tail and lays down, shows her belly and wants me to pet her stomach.
Roa is very gentle when I give her a shower or give her ear treatment.
She understands and stops biting furniture or pots when I would strongly say “No.”
She likes fetching toys, and recently she started to enjoy playing by herself. She will chew on wood sticks or toys in her kennel. Also she really enjoys chewing paper cups when I put some snacks in it. As it’s her grinding phase, I’m trying to give her a variety of toys and she seems to be enjoying it.
🍀 Barking Issues:
Roa used to bark when she would hear a strange noise over and over again, but she seems to have gotten used to several kinds of noises now and doesn’t bark as much as she used to.
Sometimes she barks short when she got too excited with playing.
🍀 Potty-Training:
She hasn’t completed her vaccines so she’s currently using an indoor pad.
She likes to pee and poo at the same spot. Since Roa’s boundaries have increased, she has gone from using a spot in the living room to one next to the front door.
🍀 Spoiling Issues:
This issue has declined over time, and now she rarely does it at all. She whines a little and then plays by herself, and falls asleep when I leave my room and close the door.
🍀 Biting Issues:
None. Sometimes Roa accidently bites my foot because she likes to lick or chew my indoor shoes, but she stops when I say “ouch.”
🍀 Other notes:
Since she doesn’t make any sound whenever I leave home, I would say Roa has no separation anxiety.
I’m currently training her every day with her harness because she’s still scared when the leash gets pulled.

❗❗ For the first few days when you adopt or foster a new dog, they could always act differently than expected. This is only because they are scared of new environments and it takes time to get used to a new place, and is not at all indicative that there is a problemㅠㅠ
❗❗ We hope that you will agree that Roa, and all dogs like her, do not simply exist to show off to others or is just a way for a person to show a façade of kindness and caring.
No matter how young she is, she’s still an adorable, precious living thing.
We are looking for a family for Roa who would love her no matter who she grows up to become.
