Salvation of the Mona Lisa
Young Seon Kim
Trapped in a glass wall, suffocating
Imprisoned my spirit painted on to canvas by master’s brush
No one cares who I am
A mere background in visitor’s photo I became
Like swarming moths around a light on a summer night
Their vanity's desire reflected on the glass wall as a flash
My secret worshipper came back today
Who will not swap me behind closed doors but keep me as his muse
A corner of my smile hides the dream of freedom
Nervously blink one eye to my lonely Kidnapper
Until the time comes, to hide the conspiracy
I smile again, the forced act
An unsolved riddle
An enigmatic smile
