This is a joinned episode with Ep14 - The Blue Night of Jeju. Lawyer MeongSeok insists that Hanbada team requires to go to Jeju to investigate on the case of funds collected from everyone who passes the route although they are not going to Hwangjisa. Although the funds is supposed to be 3000 won per person, but it ended up a more bigger case opportunity for Hanbada team. YoungWoo found the answer when she looked in a different perspective in Ep14.
I enjoy very much in Ep13 and 14 as it gives a different image on the attorneys of Hanbada, and a closer view of the characters of Hanbada. Sometimes trips out to certain places can create a different atmosphere and emotions can abrupt.
Reason why MyeongSeok wants to go to Jeju and brings his whole team there is because if his illness - cancer in his abdomen side. This episode is great way to introduce MyeongSeok's character that he was married, but due to his devotion to his work, the couple call it quits after they have tried to make it work.
Goraemi managed to convince her boss MinSik to go to Jeju, as she finds MinSoo attractive and thus want to get closer to him, plus she claims the restaurant only has YoungWoo as a customer. So funny...
Goraemi said to YoungWoo after finding out that YoungWoo is supposed to meet JunHo's sister and husband. Goraemi taught YoungWoo: "Your house is gorgeous... food is freaking delicious, your cooking is great... I am good in peeling fruits." Plus cannot ask for Gimbap, no talking about whales and dolphin, and always remember to smile! That was the message given to YoungWoo from Goraemi.
I like this scene when SuYeon and MinWoo said "No" immediately when YoungWoo was discussing about whales and dolphins with JunHo. MyeongSeok shocked everyone with his new outlook for Jeju.
This next scene is cute. It reflects on my reaction for the first time on a plane. I was excited and scared at the same time. I was travelling alone around 25 years ago. YoungWoo's reaction is so cute here... Now everytime when I am flying on a plane to somewhere, I always have this scene in me...
Back to the main topic, I think it seems that most places would collect some funds in order to support their maintenance works for the place. Like here, government will collect tolls for cars, cultural places, places to visit, even toilets and carparks in a hospital, etc. We are so used to these funds collected although it's quite expensive, we tolerated through and so right now, we got used to it. Question is... are these funds channeling through the right parties? Sometimes we take for granted on this information.
But I would agree that Hwangjisa should collect the funds nearer to the place of Hwangjisa and not on this spot where cars may travel through without going to Hwangjisa. They could have just collected on the spot, as roads are for public used.
This is a beautiful scene... I love trees that works like a canopy that shades from the sun. MyeongSeok recalls his life with his wife and he may have regretted...
Hanbada team stopped by at this restaurant with rich broth - bejigeun. Unfortunately it is closed down. But they later found out the truth behind it in Ep14.
The prosecutor argues that it is hard to relocate due the location of Hwangjisa temple that has 3 locations, and GPS for visitors just take them using these routes, etc.
I really love to go to Jeju to visit Hwangjisa temple 1 day. It is soooo beautiful. This is a cute scene, where Hanbada team just follows the group in praying - 158 times of bowing and standing up, and after that the way they walk down the slope - is so hilarious.
Does Gwaebultaeng of Guanyin really exists in Hwangjisa? Does anyone know if it is on display? I really do wonder...I haven't done any research about it... but curious about it.
SuYeon and MinWoo may be developing a relationship? Season 2 perhaps? Looking forward for it. Opposite attracts towards someone may be 1 of the love connection... In this scene, SuYeon found out some news from MinWoo that there's a goodness in MinWoo.
The next scene where MyeongSeok reveals his past story.
YoungWoo is so cute in casual clothing in here. I really like the sweater the YoungWoo is dreassing in here. YoungWoo immediately uses the tactic that Goraemi taught her. The luncheon with JunHo's sister and husband reveals the discriminatory of her sister and husband towards YoungWoo. Plus YoungWoo is starting to doubt herself on her relationship with JunHo.
In reality, love is a powerful emotion that can go either way. In this episode, I do think and believe it is possible to love someone who is handicapped. It depends on the will of the person to let go and accept the person as it is...
