1. General
1.1 This specification covers general requirements for purchasing Feed End & Diaphragm Liner of cement mill designed by HANJUNG for cement grinding project.
The Supplier shall guarantee the performance of the equipment to meet all the requirements for capacity and operation described
1.2 Definition
Customer : Plant Owner.
Purchaser : Korea Heavy Industries & Construction Co., Ltd (Hanjung)
Supplier : The party (parties) responsible for supplying all items covered under this specification. During the bidding stage, the term of Supplier should be construed as Bidder.
1.3 The Supplier’s proposal shall strictly meet all requirements specified herein. Any deviations from this specification shall be clearly indicated in the Supplier’s proposal by submitting “Deviation List" with relevant reasons. If the Supplier specifies no deviations in his proposal, the Purchaser's specification shall be applied to all respects of execution of the contract work whether or not specified in the Supplier's proposal or in the Contract.
1.4 Should any conflict occur in this specification, it must be referred to the Purchaser for clarification prior to proceeding the work of the affected equipment and parts
1.5 All the correspondence, information, documents, drawings and any other writing to be issued by the Supplier shall be written in English language only unless otherwise specified.

2. Scope
2.1 Scope of Supply
The scope of work shall include, but not limited to the followings ;
a) Liner one set for one grinding mill according to the manufacturing dwg.
b) Spare parts for commissioning and erection loss( if required )
c) Transportation to the designated FOB port and integral with Sea-worthy packing
2.2 Out of Scope of Supply
the followings shall not be included in the Supplier’s scope ;

4 General Requirements for Equipment
4.1 General
All equipment to be offered shall be of manufactured and shall correspond to a modern standard of technique. (DIN, BS, ASTM, KS, JIS)
Throughout the project the equipment shall have a high degree of availability in operation and require low maintenance.
All equipment and materials shall be of a standard equal or better than specified herein or as laid in the latest relevant international standards.
4.2 Material Testing
All equipment, materials, welding and fabrication where required shall be tested in accordance with proper standard of ISO, ASTM, DIN, JIS, BS and IEE or its equivalent.
(1) In case of casting, where undesirable and/or invisible inclusions may occur at areas, Ultrasonic or Radio Graphical Tests shall be applied to such points. Heat treatment shall be applied to relieve the stresses in indicated castings as well as highly stressed welded joints.
(2) Superficial cracks shall be detected by the Magnetic Test and laminations and inclusions shall be detected by Ultrasonic and Radio Graphical tests.
Supplier’s works certificates shall be provided for the material supplied and measured values in the various tests carried out according to the selected standards. The works certificates shall also include the chemical analysis and physical values and particular specifications for one or more batch numbers. The Purchaser may require other tests than those specified above and these shall be carried out at the Supplier’s own cost.
4.3 Mechanical Requirements
The Equipment to be supplied shall be new, entirely suitable for the service required and, where applicable, shall be manufactured in accordance with the latest recommendation of the National Standards Institution of the country of origin or equivalent.
4.4 Erection Marks
All identification marks required for recognition and erection purposes shall be painted in durable white paint and, wherever possible, in the two most advantageous positions on the structural member or mechanical equipment component.
4.5 Inspection and Test
All the inspection and test shall be carried out by the Supplier. The Purchaser and Purchaser’s representative shall be entitled, during manufacture, fabrication and preparation at any places to inspect and test the materials and workmanship.
The Supplier shall submit the “ Inspection and Test Procedure “ for the approval of Purchaser by one(1) month after Contract.
The Supplier shall furnish certificate test report of materials and certificates of inspection and test to the Purchaser at request.
4.6 Packing and Shipment
As for the detailed instruction for packing and shipment such as tags, shipping marks and etc, the Supplier shall follow the “ Specification of Packing “ attached herewith in Part I, Annex – I – 1.
4.7 Spare Parts
The Supplier shall submit a complete itemized spare and wear parts specification supplemented by a price list comprising all parts which the Supplier deems necessary to safeguard normal operation of the equipment for two (2) years. But the Supplier shall include the spare parts for commissioning and performance test of the equipment in his scope of supply.
4.8 Documents and Drawings to be submitted
The Supplier shall submit to the Purchaser the documents, listed in the Annex-I-2 pursuant to the Conditions of Contract and within the time periods defined therein.
