* God is jealous—in the sense of being concerned and involved—for the Holy Spirit He has made to live inside of those who have trusted in Christ.
In other words, if we continue to live according to the world's wisdom,
God takes our choice not to trust Him very personally. He is jealous for us.
He won't easily allow us to continue to lead lives of self-service and self-reliance when He has placed His Spirit in us.

6 And he gives grace generously.
As the Scriptures say, “God opposes the proud but gives grace /to the humble.”
6 And he 그분께서는 gives 주신다 grace 은혜를 generously 넉넉하게.
As the Scriptures 성경이 say 말하듯,
but gives 주신다 grace 은혜를 to the humble 겸손한 자들에게.”
* the를 유일한 대상에 씀; Used to indicate uniqueness: the Scriptures 성경은 유일무이한 하나님의 말씀임
* the+형용사=복수/단수명사 ; the people/one who are/is proud 교만한 자/들, the humble 겸손한 분/들
* 세상에 권력이 막강한 사람들이 대적해도 겁나는데 하물며 수천억 배 더 막강하신 하나님께서 대적하신다면
* VOICE
6 You 너희는 may think 생각할 수 있다 that절 내용을 즉 the situation 상황이 is hopeless 절망적이다고,
but 그러나 God 하나님께서는 gives 주신다 us 우리에게 more grace 더 많은 은혜를
/when 그때 we 우리가 turn away 돌아설 때 /from our own interests 우리 자신만의 관심에서.
That’s 그것이 why 이유다 Scripture 성경이 says 말한,
but He 그분께서는 pours out 퍼부으신다 grace 은혜를 on the humble 겸손한 자에게.
* hopeless. 1a : having no expectation of good or success
Scripture ; a passage from the Bible ( the를 쓰지 않음)
* 부역전구; /from our own interests

If 만약 you 너희가 do 그리 하면, he 그자는 will run away 도망칠 것이다 /in failure 패배하여.
* 부역전구; /to the one true God
* 형용사로 쓰인 one; Being a single entity, 하나의 유일한 존재
* 의미상의 숙어 fight against; to battle against someone or something.
어떤 학자는 prepositional verb 전구동사라 하여 타동사구로 분류하나; fight against [someone or something]
* 대동사 do = sumit, fight
8 Come close to God, and God will come close to you.
Wash your hands, you sinners; purify your hearts,
for your loyalty is divided between God and the world.
8 Come close 가까이 오라 to God 하나님께, and God 하나님께서도 will come close 가까이 오실 것이다 to you 너희에게.
Wash 씻어라 your hands 너희 손을, you sinners 너희 죄인들아; purify 정결 시켜라 your hearts 너희 마음을,
for 왜냐면 your loyalty 너희 충성심은 is divided 양분되었다 between 사이로 God 하나님과 and the world 이 세상.
* 영어 come은 주어 you가 아닌 to God/to you를 중심으로 하기에 '오다'가 되나 한글은 주어 중심으로 하여 go 가다가 됨
* Both "close" and "closely" are adverbs, but "closely" is most often used in two special situations:
* "closely" 1. "carefully, with great attention," rather than "near" 2. used before a past participle.
got home safely.
"Drive safely" more specifically refers to driving in a safe manner.
"Drive safe" emphasizes the end result, being unharmed when you stop driving.

* to draw ; to move, go, or proceed, esp in a specified direction:
* To cleanse a place, person, or organization of something dirty, unpleasant, or evil means to make them free from it.
* The verbs clean and cleanse share the definition to remove dirt or filth from. But clean is more often used literally.

* 동사 To dirty ; to cause it to become dirty; make dirty
* 숙어; down the middle. : into two equal parts 두쪽으로
* 문장 전체 수식의 부사역할 명사구; your love for God on one side and selfish pursuits on the other.

* 의문문 만들기
Your life is like the morning fog에서 전목을 의문사 what으로 대신하면
Your life is like what에서 의문사를 문두로 보내고 어순 도치하면 의문문이 된다
What is your life like?
What your life is like 너희 인생이 될 것 같은 그것
What is like the morning fog?, [what is like the morning fog] is your life.
