주안아, 안영! I'm sorry that I haven't written to you in a while, and that it got seeing you during the video call to write one to you today. You looked really tired today, so please don't read this now and get some rest. It can wait until you're well rested!
Good morning or evening Jooan! Did you get enough sleep? I hope you did and that you had sweet dreams! Regarding my absense for a while, I've been extremely busy at work! I'm super excited to tell you that I finally was hired as a graphic design intern!! While I still work at a grocery story during the weekends, I was hired at an apparel print shop near my house! I don't learn a whole lot about graphic design sadly, but It's fun learning the ropes of making a logo design, printing it out and then heat pressing it onto a T-shirt! To print out the designs, we use this huge printer!
The designs first get printed on this heat transfering paper,
The designs have to be layered with a glue powder that'll help them stick to fabric,
and then they get run through this small oven that fully dries them! After that was have to cut them individually and then use heat and pressure to press them onto shirts, pants, hats and even bags! We get a lot of customers that order sport jersies, company uniforms and even workout clothes! I once had to press designs onto over 150 shirts in a day! It was so much fun!
There's this one customer that is opening a brewery restaurant on the beach and he hired us to design his merchandise his! I forgot to take pictures but they look so amazing! I'm hoping I can go after they open and buy one of the shirts I made. hehe.
I've also been busy with classes! After graduating with my 2nd bachelor's I started taking an online graphic design certification course. I feel like I'm learning more from these classes than my college classes, which is a bit sad but oh well. At least I'm learning~ I've also started taking online Japanese tutoring! I think I might end up getting a job in Japan, so I wanted to enhance my Japanese skills more, so I've been prioritizing Japanese over Korean. Sorry, Jooan. I think that, once I get the hand of Japanese, I'll start learning Korean again! Hopefully I'll be fluent in both within a few years. But! Yesterday my tutor asked me if I liked Kpop and I ended up promoting TAN hehe. She didn't know you, sadly. But I think I was successfully able to get her curious of her ~ I hope you'll gain a new fan ~
Now! About the album! I wasn't joking when I told you that reading the lyrics for "Lights" made me cry. I've been feeling a bit depressed lately with failing to find a way to start my new career, and when I read "Lights" lyrics I almost felt like you guys were speaking to me and it filled my heart with so much warmth. It was as if I could actually see a light in my current dark world. Thank you for writing such a beautiful song, My Angel~ "5:45" is also super amazing!! The first time I heard it I instantly knew you wrote it! The acoustics are absolutely amazing and I can't help but imagine seeing you play the guitar while singing this song~ While listening to both songs, I feel like I can feel TAN's emotions. Like always, Jooan you're amazing! I hope I can hear these songs in person one day. They're my absolute favorite now. I listen to 3TAN everyday at work on loop (sometimes even when I'm not supposed to, but keep that a secret ok? hehe). All the songs are so amazing that I never get tired of them. Thank you for your hard work on such a masterpiece!
ah! I have to get ready for work! I'll see you gain Sunday morning (evening for you), ok? I also got into the online audience for Simply CON-TOUR! I'm so excited and feel blessed that I get to see you 3 days in a row! I'm so excited for your performance! Fighting!Thank you for today, Jooan~Love you to the moon and back!
