With the beginning of the pandemic, many schools shut down and students had to turn to online classes. Some students think that learning in the traditional classrooms is the best way to get educated when they actually go to school. However, taking classes through the Internet is the most reliable way to learn; students can save time and energy and it keeps them from getting the virus.
I prefer online classes.
First of all, I can save time and energy. For example, when I take online lectures due to the Coronavirus, I could sleep more in the morning till the class begins. When I had to go to school for the same classes, I got to wake up a lot earlier to prepare for the day and to get to the school in time. I usually spent an hour getting dressed and an additional half an hour arriving at the school.
Moreover, it is safe to take online classes in the era of the COVID-19 pandemic.
For example, once the virus can be lethal to everyone without an updated vaccine, going out and mingling with people can be extremely dangerous. Therefore, everyone in my family tries to keep themselves indoors instead of going out. It is just the same with learning. People have changed their way of getting education.
3)
I prefer traditional classes.
Firstly, I can socialize with people. For example, since I stopped going to school in the era of the COVID-19 pandemic, I feel so depressed and lose chances to mix with people. As long as we all follow the rules like wearing masks and using hand sanitizers properly, it is completely fine. I’m scared of getting the virus, but at the same time, making myself isolated will affect my future negatively. In the traditional classroom, I can naturally discuss and debate the given topics, and that way, I can upgrade thinking power. I can also interact with my classmates when talking about daily issues face-to-face. No matter how simple the conversations can be, I can learn how to better communicate with them, which is precious experience in working with others.
In addition, I can better focus on learning in the traditional classroom. For example, since last February, I’ve been taking online classes. However, I can hardly concentrate on the lecture because there are so many distractions such as game apps, instant messages, and exciting videos that I can instantly enjoy only with a click. Yesterday, when I was watching the class through the zoom, my friend wanted to chat with me. I tried to ignore it, but it kept blinking, distracting me all the time.
