Many people have different political and social perspectives and have inclination to talk their views to others, even teachers do in classes. (시작할 때 Many people or Most people or Quite a few people or Every person does not have same political or social perspectives~ 라고 하는 것도 좋겠다. 예를 들면 ~ and tend(s) to persuade other people to follow their own views or ideas. 왜냐하면 주로 talk이라는 동사는 “S+talk about 명사”로 사용되거나 about 이외의 다른 전치사(with or around)와 사용되기에 좀 더 명확하게 자신의 주장을 설명하려면 더 직접적인 의미를 갖는 동사 예를 들면 persuade or allow or maintain or insist on 등을 사용함이 좋겠다. // Some people might agree with the opinion that it is okay for teachers to talk their social and political views to students; nonetheless, others might hold their own opinion against it. / 예를 들면, “tell-persuade-attract”) / In line with this, I firmly believe that teachers ought not show their aspects toward society and politics. (~teachers may not show or should not show their personal aspects regarding social problems or political issues to students. // Actually, I have a plenty of justification for holding my opinion; main purpose of teaching and feelings of students. //
For openers, the main role of teachers is to help students build logically-thinking abilities toward society. // Though it is probable that many people may cast doubt to my opinion; however, the most important role teachers should have is not to help students build one-side thinking abilities, but to help students develop various ways to think. // To give a personal example, I once met an English teacher who had extremely conservative political views. // Even though he was very nice, I was not able to give affection or agreement to him in that he often said so many prejudices toward some certain political parties. // As a matter of fact, I was a little nervous that I might be affected from his extremely partial opinions. // As a result of this, it was very hard for me to rely upon his class with happiness. // This incident definitely demonstrates that it is not desirable for teachers to tell their own political and social views in classes. //
Furthermore, it is possible for students to be hurt by teachers who talk about their own social and political opinions in class. // If students are negatively affected by their teachers, they may not be able to primarily depend on their teachers, which makes them have difficulties in studying. // Although some people might say that political and social discussions have nothing to do with hurting students’ feeling, it is not necessarily true to me. // According to one of the recent news, more than fifty-percent of students had experienced nasty feelings while talking about political and social conversation with teachers. // To say a personal experience, one of the teachers who taught mathematics in my school once blamed one of the former Presidents of Korea severely. // Even though I did not like the President a lot, it was very uncomfortable for me to listen to her still. // These events clearly show that students are badly influenced through the teachers saying their own opinions about political and social issues. //
To summarize the points made in the paragraphs above, I concretely think that it is advised for teachers to keep themselves from expressing their own aspects on social and political materials concerning how students feel and why they teach students as a teacher in school. // There should be the fact that both students and teachers should respect each other in class. //
