*6월 1일 토요일 (June 01 24 Saturday) 26c feel like 32c.

더운 날이 계속되어 후덥지근하다. 그나마 집에 있으니 좋다. 우리 셋 모두 집에 있기로 하여 그동안 하지 못했던 것들 하며, 라면도 먹고 집에서 우려낸 맛진 커피도 마시며 일식 쇼바도 해 맛있게 먹었다. 그러면서도 야외에 나간 우리 크로이와 계속 카톡 질하였다. Today was not bad day to me.

Saturday, June 1 (June 01 24 Saturday) 26c feel like 32c.

The hot day continues and it is muggy. At least it's good to be home. All three of us decided to stay at home, so we did things we had not been able to do for a while. We ate ramen, drank delicious home-brewed coffee, and enjoyed Japanese Shoba. Meanwhile, I kept chatting with Croy, who was out in the field. Today was not a bad day to us.

*6월 1, 2, 셋째 주까지는 내가 하는 일도 나쁘지 않았다. 그러나 마지막 주는 7월을 앞둔 주이므로 한가할 것이다. 7월부터 9월 첫 주까지는 여름휴가 씨즌이니까. 이 글을 쓰는 오늘, 첫째는 7월 초 가족과 함께 미국으로 휴가를 다녀온다고 연락 왔다. 오늘부터 휴가에서 돌아올 때까지 그들에 대한 걱정과 염려와 싸울 것이다.

Until the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd weeks of June, what I was doing wasn't bad. However, the last week will be free as it is the week before July. The summer vacation season is from July to the first week of September. Today, as I am writing this, my eldest son contacted me to say that he is going on vacation to the United States with his family in early July. From today until they get back home from vacation, I will fight my worries and concerns about them.

아침 8시에 집에서 Simco Lake 북쪽 오릴리아 county와 오랜만에 Casino Rama에 가 보기로 하고 출발했다. 퇴근하면 집에만 있는 둘째를 운전하게 해서. 둘째 차가 승용차이고 더 좋지만, 깨스 값도 감가상각비도 다 우리가 커버하기로 하여 우리 혼다 SUV로 갔다. 차에는 어젯밤에 아내가 만들어 둔 소고기 갈비와 제육볶음과 야채와 밥이 있다. 그 동네에 가서 또 뭐라도 사 먹어줘야 하니까 조금만 준비했다. 그 동네는 논 팔아 장사하는 동네는 아니니까. 오릴리라 부근 공원에서 전(seting on field table for early lunch) 을 펼쳤다. 모든 게 꿀 맛이었다. 바로 옆이 호숫가라서 물은 맑지만 모기 등 벌레들이 있어서 먹고 바로 자리를 떴다. 그리고 카지노 라마로. 한 시간 만에 할매가 30불 내가 50불 땄다. 계속하면 주머니 돈 다 털릴 테니까 얼른 자리를 떠나서 오후의 뜨거운 햇볕을 즐기며 즐거운 마음으로 귀가하였다.

We left home at 8 a.m. to go to Orillia County, north of Shimcoe Lake, and Casino Rama in Orillia, It's been a while since we went

We gave our car key to him Hwy(second son) to drive. His car is a passenger car and it is better, but we decided to cover both the gas and depreciation costs, so we went with our Honda SUV. In the car, there are well cooked beef ribs, stir-fried pork, vegetables, and rice that my wife made last night. We had to go to that neighborhood and buy something to eat, so we prepared a little bit of lunch.

Because that neighborhood is not a neighborhood that is business by the money after selling rice paddies. An event (setting on field table for early lunch) was held at a park near Orillira. Everything tasted like honey. Since it was right next to the lake, the water was so clear, but there were mosquitoes and other bugs, so we left right after eating. And then to Casino Rama. In one hour, my wife won 30 dollars and I won 50 dollars. If we continued, we would run out of money, so we quickly left and went home happy, enjoying the hot afternoon sun.

*6월 21일 금요일 June 21 Thursday, 어제 6월 20일부터 정부가 인정한 여름이다. 이 금요일도 화창함 날씨이지만, 여름 분위기로 주변 모두가 들떠있는 것 같다. 코비드-19 펜데밐 때 같이 조용하다. 캐나다 토론토 다운타운인데도...

롱 데이. 힘든 하루였다. 그러나 내가 고 트레인을 타야 하는 유니언 스테이션은 여행 자. 멀리에 있는 집으로 돌아가려는 자. 공항 가는 지하철을 타려는 사람들. 홈리스들. 스쳐 지나가는 사람들과 유튜브에 남기려고 사진 찍는 사람들 사람들로 붐볐다. 세계 각국의 인종들이 거의 모인 것 같았다. 그중에 하나인 나는 무거운 백색과 런치 박스를 들고 흐느적거리며 걸어간다.

누구에게든(몇 사람은 빼고) 매주 금요일 오후가 가장 좋은 시간이다. 일찍 문을 닫은 그 시간에 땡볕 아래 내가 걸어간다. 어느 누구의 관심적 시선도 받지 못한 채, 한 노인의 몸짓으로 걸어간다. 토론토 다운타운의 가장 복잡하고 분주한 네거리를 건너 터벅터벅 걸어간다.

그리고 24일 월요일. 코스코에 그 품목을 확인하니 금방 cd1199.99-로 가격이 CD400- 오른 정상 되어있었다. 못 사게 되나? 걱정했는데 구매했다고 연락이 왔다. It's excellent!

그러고는, "우리 캐네디언 데이 연휴 끼고 미국으로 여행 다녀온다"

이번 주 금요일부터 우리 유하는 September 05 목요일까지 elementary School 여름방학이다.

"떠나기 전에 컴퓨터가 배달되어 오면 오픈하지 말고 여행 갔다 와서 천천히 오픈해서 셋업 해도 되니 그렇게 알고 건강하고 보람 있고 즐겁게 여행 잘 다녀오도록 해라. 여행은 더 좋은 것들과 함께 떠난 집으로 다시 돌아오는 것이다. You understand?"

"Yes, daddy. I got it and we will do that."

연휴 둘째 날인 일요일에는 둘째와 우리 유하 할무이 나와 그렇게 셋이서 서쪽에 있는 바다 같은 호수의 비치로 하루 다녀올 생각이다. 가며 오며 사 마시고 먹고 할 것이다. 우리가 쉬는 곳곳의 장사하는 사람들도 먹고살아야 하잖은가? 가며 오며 돈을 쓰며 즐기며 하루를 보내리라.

Friday, June 21 June 21 Thursday, as of yesterday, June 20, the government has recognized that it is summer(Official Summer). Although the weather is sunny this Friday, everyone around us seems to be excited by the summer atmosphere. But in side of this building it's quiet like during the COVID-19 pandemic. Even though it's downtown Toronto, Canada...

Long day. It was a hard day. However, I am a commuter and need to take the Go-train to Union Station. A person who wants to return home far away, people trying to take the subway to the airport, homeless people. It was crowded with people passing by and people taking pictures to post on YouTube. It seemed like people from all over the world had come together. I, one of them, walk shakily carrying a heavy back pac and lunch box.

For everyone (except for a few people), every Friday afternoon is the best time. I walk under the blazing sun at a time when it closes early. Without receiving any attention from anyone, I walk with the gesture of an old man. I trudge across the busiest and most complex intersection in downtown Toronto.

And on Monday the 24th. When I checked the item at Costco, the price was immediately set to CD1199.99-. Can't I buy it? I was worried, but I got a call saying I had purchased it from first son

It's excellent!

And then, “We are going on a trip to the United States for the Canadian Day holiday.”

From this Friday to Thursday, September 5th, elementary school is on summer vacation.

“If the computer is delivered before you leave.

Instead of opening it, you can slowly open it and set it up when you come back home from your trip, so you just know that and have a healthy, rewarding, and enjoyable trip. Traveling is returning home with better things. Do you understand?"

“I got it and we will do that.”

The three of us, my second child and Chloe's Grandma are planning to go to a beach on a sea-like lake in the west for a day. As we go and come, we will buy, drink and eat. Don’t the business people in the places where we rest also have to make a living? We will spend our the day going and coming, spending money and having fun.

*우리 크로이가 "할무이 하라부지. 우리 신나게 잘 놀고 왔어요" 하며 돌아오고, 내가 새로운 렙탑 컴퓨터를 가지고 놀면... 아아아~ 6월은 저만치 가고 7월이 와 있다. -끝-

When our Chloe comes back saying "Grandpa Grandma! We had a great time" and plays with the new laptop computer... ahhh~ June is almost gone and July is here. -the end-

내일부터 롱 위크엔드 라서 일터 주변이 코비드-19 펜데밐 중 일때와 같이 한가하고 조용합니다. 대부분의 다운타운의 직장인들은 그 동안 가지 못한 휴가를 일찍부터 시작하여 캐나디 토론토 다운타운이 적막함으로 잠자는 도시 같습니다. 이 넓은 건물 지하 1층에 혼자 서성이다
찾았습니다. 답글이 늦어 미안합니다. 박희정님은 이 카페의 주옥같은 보석입니다. 다방면에서 활력을 불어 넣어주시니 회원으로 고맙고 감사합니다. 늘 몸과 마음이 건강하시고 지금 같이 잘 가기를 바랍니다.

이 나이에도 정신없이 살다보니 시간이 너무 빠르다는 생각이 불쑥 듭니다. 따님과 손주들과 재미있게 사시는 모습이 좋습니다. 세상살이 다 만족할 수는 없겠지만, 스스로 건강과 행복만들며 사시는 모습의 글이 노년들에게 참고가 되기를 바랍니다. 늘 건강하시고 즐거운 날들 되십시오~
