I added The Glory to my watchlist after Netflix recommended it with a 98% match. Was a bit wary of watching it though given the subject matter and the fact I'm usually a wreck with Korean dramas. Like seriously, how on Earth do they always manage to pluck the heartstrings so blooming well? I digress. Lately everyone seems to have either watched, or is watching, it. So having finished my other series, I put it on. What a pilot episode! It left me sad and angry but keen for the next episode. Won't put spoilers but sweet freaking bananas it was an addictive watch. Gripped from start to finish. Brilliantly acted. Loved the doctor but Son Myeong-O was my favourite character despite being pure evil and deserving his fate.
Thank you, Doha, for persuading me to finally bite the bullet and watch it. Loved this series and proud that I only cried at the final episode despite the strong emotions felt throughout. That's progress, right?
