Spring comes first from the ground,
Even amidst the harsh winds of minus 10 degrees Celsius,
In early February, the beginning of spring has just passed,
Yet already, the ground exhales warmth, preparing for spring.
Someone once said,
Spring doesn't first come from the yellow ginger trees
Or the pale pink azaleas,
It comes first from the ground.
With the arrival of spring, the ground exhales
A gentle warmth,
Melting the frozen earth,
Infusing the vitality of life,
The warmth of the earth,
Into the trees and grass.
Thus, with a breath,
Injecting warmth into the beings above the ground,
Fertilizing spring.
We feel spring when flowers bloom,
But beneath the ground, it's already imbued with warmth,
Channeling that energy to trees, grass, and flowers.
Absorbing moisture diligently from the soil,
Supplying water to the dried stems of trees,
Thus, the willow shares its bounty with people.
In verdant places,
With pretty swallowtails, crocuses,
And edelweiss on display,
Children, seeking refuge from the heat,
Wander into the mountains,
Becoming water bugs in search of streams,
Dipping into the refreshing water
Of beautiful and warm streams,
Bathing their necks with towels.
