D2 and D3.
I think I'm growing a food baby hahaha. I'm happy I get to eat the food I miss plus a lot of veg and herbs but I'm a little disappointed at myself for not being able to exercise more, just in bed.
I mean wholesome bed exercises okay? 🤣
Maybe if the flooring of my next accommodation would be better 😁.
Nothing really special is happening, just food mostly and I got to surprise a person I've known since last year. Told stories for 2 hours because she wasn't too busy at work (I surprised her at her workplace 😆)
And a lot of friendly people who were shocked when they learned about my age and where I am from. It seemed like they were excited to hear that I'm from the Philippines, maybe because not a lot of filipinos come to the northern part. The restaurant staff (where I had dinner) kept saying I look like them, which can be true and I am happy that they're excited to say it.
Share and spread the happiness.
Make happiness infectious. 😉
D3, early simple breakfast. I don't know what happened to my order tho haha, the menu said banh my but I got eggs and toast 😆.
Then a blunder happened. My lunch time van transport going to the plateaus got cancelled. Maybe because I was the only one who booked that specific time. I couldn't cancel the accommodation at that place anymore because there was no refund happening and or else I would get charged a fee even if I didn't check-in. So even if it's already late in the afternoon, I got a confirmed seat for the 5:30 PM trip and I would arriving at the place late at night. My emergency flashlight will come in handy later. I can't let one setback cancel what I want to see and want to do. Sure I have time, I can always remove one place I have on my list, so I'll see what happens.
Lunch was at a Thai restaurant but my taste verdict was meeehhh. Good enough to make you full but I've had better and I make better 😆 if I have holy/thai basil available.
I had 2 hours of nothing to do after lunch, someone told me to just do something - massage, pedicure etc. I saw a zoo nearby but it was too hot to walk. I found a massage place 5 minutes away. So I went and got an upperbody massage because it was cheaper, little did I know that after the massage there would be a paper handed to me with ratings regarding the massage if it was good. AND checkboxes with the amount of tip 😅. I thought of giving a tip but not that much, only what I can afford 😁. Oh well, nothing I can do but just checked the minimum, anyway the lady was good.
After the massage, I got my big bag from the lockers and took a Grab car to the transport station. At the van terminal, I was being jokingly "sold off" to their staff lol. We used google translate for all of those. I was just sweating and laughing but saying no no no 🤣. I now know how it feels like because in the Philippines we tell the people we know who don't know tagalog or any dialect can be sold (as a joke hahaha). And I didn't understand them but they pointed at me or said Philippines, I knew they were talking about me and I just smiled haha.
Anyway, they call this transport a van limousine and it's very comfortable except that my mistake is wearing shorts haha because skin (sweaty skin) sticks to the leather seats 😆 and my butt and legs get really warm on leather seats 😆 so get ready to perspire assbutt 🤣. I can't slide my ass when I need to adjust my position. I need to unstick my skin off the seat and later when I arrive at the accommodation, I'll need to shower immediately hahaha. Lesson learned wear something long or at least cover the legs before sitting 😂.
Will I have dinner tonight? No I dont think so, I'll just sleep it off and try to have a better day tomorrow and the next and the next and the next.
Trying to write down all of my expenses too so I know how much I already spent and the cash I still have. I will also need to remember the online payments.
That's it for today... Maybe. I hope nothing scary or serious is going to happen later when I walk to the accommodation.
Get ready arms and legs 😂 if you'll be needed. I.hope not tho because my bag has quite the weight. - UPDATE: The teasing of the men at the van terminal had quite the perk, instead of stopping at the bus station then me walking 11 minutes to the accommodation, the driver (who also translated the teasing) dropped me exactly at my accommodation and they said bye bye to me when I got out. I said my thank you and bye bye as well. Good people 😊 even with the language barrier. It can be challenging and one of them even quit trying when I handed him my phone to say something hahaha.
- Your Pudgy Digital Chenobi currently stuck to the seat hahaha (not anymore lol)
