I have to write about your latest and (and only second!!!???) boylog. For one, everyone has been waiting for it, and when you did give it to us, you did not disappoint. So much content! All we've missed from your Vlives, you've definitely made up in 14+ minutes video. Though to be honest, I did not want it to end. I hope you produce more in the furture. It was so nice to see the things you worked on passionately (who knew so much work went into making a TikTok vid - am obviuosly out of the loop on that app). How you religiously keep to your own schedule of working out and playing the piano. Sprinkle some of the motivational dust.

The thing that made me all giddy was when you showed us details of your costume preparation and SFX make-up process. Can't express how much I loved it. We all did! As a costume maker/enthusiast I was over the moon ;) My people and I were like nodding our heads when you were showing off the materials you had. Yes the price, yes the wax, yes the face paints and brushes! We were even getting into discussion that you'd use liquid latex, and there you did!
Seeing how you did your own make up from last year, has made me super curious what your Halloween cos would be this year. I didn't see the "Kevruella" coming, but dayum you pulled it off. Levelled up on the make-up too. At this rate, I can't help but be excited for your next plans. As a Halloween enthusiast, yes I'm already counting the days!
Would love to see you if you'd do more of this form of crafting - albeit yes it is time consuming and can be draining, but the results are almost always worth it. I made costume-making and crafting into an all year round hobby thing (cosplay) pre-pandemic. Even made a sideline out of it with my people. But on most days it's really for the fun of it. Donning costumes, becoming characters, and being able to live them out for a few hours is a total natural high.
Here's one of the work I'm the most proud of, it's from the game Skyrim. All the metal/iron-ish pieces you see here are all made of EVA foam. Sword is made out of wood too! That's pleather and faux fur, handsewn and weathered to give the warrior vibe. We had an amazing photographer friend do this shoot with us. When I wore this, it made me feel all powerful, like the shieldmaiden of Vikings were. In real life, that helm was slightly big for me and I looked like a kid pretending to be a warrior.
Allow me to recommend watching, Adam Savage's Ted Talk on cosplaying. Food for thought in that speech of his. Also his YouTube channels about crafting is amazing and satisfying to watch.
I really really loved your costume ideas and the length you went to make it. I hope you do more SFX experimenting? Those materials will dry up, when not in use, as am sure you are well aware too :D
well I guess I'll end here for now. Hope you know you are cherished, and you give us so many reasons to be proud we are stanning you.
Thanks for the light - Rafi
