Good evening Eunho! I hope you have had such a great day and great week so far!!
I wonder if you have had nice meals today, I just finished my meal so I somehow want to talk with you about food haha.
I have watched your interview with @eee.pick on Instagram, as I understand “kalguksu” is a kind of noodles that is cut by knife or tool and “sujebi” has the similar ingredients with it, just has difference in cutting method and “kaljebi” is a mix between those, is it true? If it is then your interview was truly so cute and entertaining lmao especially this part 😭👍
“I like this kind of noodles and this kind of noodles (in different cutting method), if wondering in choosing between those two then just order the mix of them” is how what you said can be funnily translate into 😭😭😭😭 What made it even more entertaining is the way you said it with such excitement, I could clearly see the sparkle in your eyes especially in that part. Kalguksu really is Eunho’s inseparable lover hahaha, but thanks for your recommendation, I want to visit the place in the future so badly!
And although they are completely different, it still somehow reminds me of wonton skin soup 😁😁
Sometimes when I get hungry but noodles and rice seem like not fitting because they can make your stomach go heavy since they are food that keep you full in long time, that is when I think of wonton skin soup! The texture isn’t thick and it will falls apart the moment you put it in your mouth, it gives you the feeling of eating something similar to noodles but not that heavy like noodles which exactly fits the mood I just described don’t you think? And talk about wonton, I have a small bad habit: instead of eating the whole thing, usually I would eat the whole skin first and after finishing it is when I start eating fillings, I wonder how Eunho would eat the wonton and would he have the same bad habit as me too haha.
Speaking of which, from time to time Korean food quite surprises me with how elegant and light it looks, I mean look at the bowl of noodles my mom made for me, you can’t even see the noodles apart from the toppings anywhere hahaha.
That is how I want my food (and my drink too), the amount can be not so much, but does not lack toppings either. How about you Eunho? Since your eating mana is pretty high I wonder that you enjoy eating the main thing with great quantity or with the great amount of toppings and fillings 😁😁
Also today I want to introduce you this kind of street food (I just came up with the idea minutes ago since I just had it haha), it is grilled chicken egg ദ്ദി ˉ͈̀꒳ˉ͈́ )✧.
Although it looks simple, it is pretty interesting in knowing how it is made and it takes more time to do than you imagine. Before grilling it, you have to pour the raw eggs out (don’t break the shell in half), mix the raw eggs with ingredients and those ingredients are the most important things that decide the taste of it, after that you have to pour the mixing back to the eggshell, I heard that in Thailand they pour it in edible sausage collagen casings:000. Then you have to steam them before grilling, and this step along with the pouring step need carefulness and skillfulness because you have to watch it all the time when making it. You need to pour the mixing at the right amount, do not fully fill it in the eggshells, each 3-5 minutes you have to open the lid to clear the remaining steam water on it so the hot air inside is not pressed for around 15-20 minutes, if you don’t do it rightly as the steps I told, the eggs might be broken badly or even explode 😨😨 After all those steps is the grilling step which creates its name. Enjoyable to eat but not so enjoyable to make haha, it will be the most perfect when you put a little bit of gelatin in it to create such great gelantinous texture 😋😋 woa from describing it is enough to make me drool again although I just had it 🤤🤤 I know you would love it if you had a chance to try it Eunho!
By the way the other day I just found out that my favorite Japanese television slice of life series “What Did You Eat Yesterday?” which I did mention in a letter for you in the past has a second season!! It released 6 months ago but it is only recent days that I acknowledged that!! Still about great home-made dishes with heartwarming daily life stories of a middle-aged couple, there is a scene of it that goes like this:
-Everybody makes mistakes.
-When people make decisions (to leave), what they remember about the other person and the outcome are really different for each individual, huh?
-If you want to remember something about me, what would it be?
Sometimes that is a topic I use for deep thoughts in my brain about you too, Eunho. Sometimes I wonder how many times things could be different if Eunho’s image in my heart was something different. What would I view his cranky dances (I’m so sorry for mentioning this 😭😭😭) if the Eunho who are always trying hard to be better has never been there in my heart at the first place? I wonder how many things of you that you wish people to restain in people’s mind beside of singing and if you are ever deeply curious about the reasons why people decided to stay here loving you, but the same time with that, I have a stronger gratitude for you choosing this path, because thanks to that you get a clearer chance to show yourself and more directly and reasonably receive millions different people’s love perspectives on you which also means I have a chance to know you and express my love for you too!
So at odds with usual, today I want to recommend a slice of life drama to watch: What Did You Eat Yesterday? (season 2). Have a good night Eunho, I love you so much!! ❤️❤️
