A few months ago, when my elder daughter came back home from University, she found
a roe-deer on the road. It was looking around from side to side on the street.
My daughter was so surprised at it. She thought she should stop her car. But many cars
ran after her. So she couldn't stop suddenly. Fortunately, the roe-deer was standing on
the other way of the road.
No car ran on the other way because it was the closing hour.
The next day my daughter told the story the other professors.
They told her "These are run of mill(common) in Jeju Island."
I was told from this morning news that there are many accidents on the highways in America
because the deers suddenly run into the road. These are increased year by year.
It is not only deers that die or get injured on the road. Many drivers die or get injured
who bump into deers on the road as well.
More and more people move to suburbs and animals gradually lose their places to live in.
It seems that it is not always romantic to live near nature
