우렁쉥이(멍게)는 사전에 ascidan 도 나와 있지만, 원어민들은 sea squirt 를 사용한다. 참고로 우렁쉥이와 멍게다 같은 말이고 표준어이다. 꽁치는 사전에 saury 또는 mackerel pike 라고 나와 있지만 pike 라고 사용한다.
* 6341 : I caught a shrimp(새우), an abalone(전복), a trout(송어) and (a common) octopus(낙지).
낙지는 사전에 common octopus 라고 나와 있지만, 외국인들은 낙지와 문어의 구별을 잘 모른다. 물론 한국사람들도 잘 하지는 못한다. 그래서 이들에게는 다 octopus 이다.
