12강 TELEPHONE
A Telephone Conversation -
Mike : Ann took me to the medical clinic, and the doctor took a look at my foot. She examined it and told me that I had broken my ankle. But no one really knows how I did it. Even the doctor said she didn't get it.
Kevin : (Laughs slightly.) Maybe you have fragile bones?
Mike : Don't laugh. That's exactly what the doctor said. She thinks my bones aren't as strong as they should be. I tried to walk with some crutches she had in the office. When I accidentally let go of them, I fell down right away. I couldn't stand for even two seconds without the crutches.
Kevin : Wow, so, what did the doctor do for you?
Mike : (Fade out as Mike begins a long reply.) Well, first, my foot was X-rayed, then...

Dear Mike :
Ann told me what happened. I hope your foot gets better soon. She said that you couldn't stand on it at all. I hope it isn't too painful.
I'm really busy at work right now, and I haven't a clue when I will have some free time, but I'll try to make it over to your place sometime soon to say hello. I know how boring life is when you have to stay home by yourself. And don't worry, I'll make sure everyone else comes to visit you too. We won't forget you! On second thought, perhaps you don't want everyone coming to see you! Maybe you would be happier with some quiet time.

The Center is asking its members to be careful when playing any sport, and just to be on the safe side, always stretch properly before you exercise. And remember there is always a person with medical training available at the Center to give you a hand and help you if you do hurt yourself.
