The Avatamsaka Sutra, The Wonderful Adornments of the Leaders of the Worlds (세주묘엄품 141-1)

[眞如華]

       나. 偈頌讚歎

     141.

     爾時      海月廣大明菩薩摩訶薩      承佛威力      普觀一切菩薩衆莊嚴海已      卽說頌言

     諸波羅蜜及諸地      廣大難思悉圓滿

     無量衆生盡調伏      一切佛土皆嚴淨

     如佛敎化衆生界      十方國土皆充滿

     一念心中轉法輪      普應群情無不遍

     그 때 해월광대명보살마하살이 부처님의 위신력을 받들어 모든 보살 대중들의 장엄 바다를 두루 관찰하고 나서 게송으로 말하였다.

     모든 바라밀과 모든 지위가

     광대하고 부사의함이 다 원만하여

     한량없는 중생들을 다 조복하시며

     모든 불국토를 다 엄숙하고 청정하게 하였네.

     부처님이 중생계를 교화하듯이

     시방의 모든 국토에 다 충만하고

     한순간에 마음속에서 법륜을 굴리어

     중생들의 뜻에 맞춰 두루 하였네.

      At that time the enlightening being Great Brilliance of the Moon Reflected in the Ocean, empowered by the Buddha, observed the ocean of arrays of all the hosts of enlightening beings and said in verse,

     The transcendent means and the stages of enlightenment,

     Vast, inconceivable, are all fulfilled;

     Infinite sentient beings subdued and harmonized,

     All buddha-lands are pure.

     As buddha teaches in the worlds of beings,

     All lands in the ten directions are filled;

     In an instant of thought he turns the wheel of truth,

     Accommodating it to all states of mind.

               At that time; 그때

               Great Brilliance of the Moon Reflected in the Ocean; 해월광대명

               the enlightening being; 보살마하살이

               empowered by the Buddha; 부처님의 위신력을 받들어

               of all the hosts of enlightening beings ; 모든 보살 대중들의

               observed the ocean of arrays ; 장엄바다를 두루 관찰하고

               and said in verse; 나서 곧 게송으로 말하였습니다

               The transcendent means; 모든 바라밀과

               the stages of enlightenment; 모든 지위가

               Vast, inconceivable; 광대하고 부사의함이

               are all fulfilled; 다 원만하여

               Infinite sentient beings; 한량없는 중생들을

               subdued and harmonized; 다 조복하시며

               All buddha-lands; 모든 불국토를

               are pure; 청정하게 장엄하였네

               As buddha teaches; 부처님이 교화하듯이

               All lands in the ten directions; 시방의 모든 국토에

               are filled; 다 충만하고

               he turns the wheel of truth; 법륜을 굴리어
