AREA OF CONSIDERATION: All current IMCOM permanent KN employees in Areas I and II serviced by CHRA for reassignments and changes to lower grade. No promotion may result from this announcement. |

NOTE: 1. Relocation Allowance will NOT be authorized for the selectee from outside the commuting area. 2. Selectee for this position may be eligible for relocation allowance if applicable and all requirements in paragraph 8-13 (Relocation Allowance) of USFK regulation 690-1 are met. Under the Yongsan Relocation Plan (YRP), individual moves of the selectee from Area II to other Areas will be authorized by the YRP moving services processes as stipulated in Civilian Human Resources Transformation Guidance. |

MAJOR DUTIES: |
|
KGS-4 : Assigns transient quarters to incoming transient personnel; obtains hand receipt, maintains room control board and processes termination of room assignment; determines quarters considering the availability of on-base/post government quarters and off-base/post U.S. contract hotels when on-base/post transient spaces or contract hotel rooms are not available. Provides information concerning location of on-base/post or off-base/post facilities, transportation and local rules, etc. Receives complaints from the guest on services and facility condition and makes immediate correction and/or reports to supervisor. Is responsible for safekeeping deposited valuable items and luggage in custody of the transient front desk. Receives and maintains reservation record, and maintains transient room occupancy status and key rack board. Compiles and prepares monthly transient occupancy data. Maintains call register for U.S. contract hotels. May act as central cashier for the shift. Computes and collects fees from resale outlet incomes and departing personnel. Makes necessary change. Prepares consolidated daily cashier s report by computing and verifying amount of cash against supporting documents. Makes daily deposit of all cash received to the base/post banking facility. Receives phone calls requesting personal data of permanent party personnel, as the Base/Post Locator, after normal duty hours and on weekends. Runs feature film and provides information and special presentation video tapes at scheduled times. Operates micro computer for check in/out routine local information and reservation. Performs other duties as assigned. |

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENT: |
|
EXPERIENCE: One year of general experience.
GENERAL EXPERIENCE: Progressively responsible work which indicates ability to acquire the knowledge, skills, and abilities (KSAs) needed to perform the duties of the position to be filled.
ENGLISH LANGUAGE COMPETENCY: 1. The American Language Course Placement Test (ALCPT) score of 60 is required. 2. The passing score of former English Language Proficiency Test (C Series) may be substituted for ALCPT requirement. 3. The TOEFL score of 450 (or 133 on the computer-based test) or TOEIC score of 550 may be substituted for ALCPT requirement. Applicant must indicate the TOEFL/TOEIC score on the application (item #17) and submit official copies of test scores. TOEFL and TOEIC scores are valid for two years from the exam date. TOEFL scores must be provided to the CHRA-FER from the ETS. |

SUBSTITUTION OF EDUCATION FOR EXPERIENCE : Successfully completed education of two years above the high school level in a ROKG authorized or recognized college, university may be substituted for the experience required at grade KGS-4. |
