다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)
The purpose of this study was to investigate korean domestic trends of research for children with ADHD. It was designed as preceding research in order to establish the direction of education and research for children with ADHD.
Among the search cites for Korean domestic academic dissertation, (http://search koreanstudies.net/) offered by Korean Studies Information Co., Ltd. was used for searching articles for this studies.
Total number of articles searched by key word 'adhd' was 53. Forty articles were selected as the final subject or this study. They were analysed by year, institute, type, independent variables and dependent variables, the age and number of the subjects, assessment tools, and current trends of research for children with ADHD.
The conclusion of the study based on the results were as follows:
First, current research about children with ADHD become more active than before. They have been published mostly in Korean Society for Psychology and Korean Society of Education for Children with Emotional or Behavioral Disorders. The types of the ADHD research focus more on intervention than others.
Second, the ages of subjects in ADHD research are mainly lower school years of elementary school. The research in which the number of subjects were less than 10 children were in larger numbers and become more prone to case studies. DSM-Ⅳ with others tests were used more frequently as assessment tools for children with ADHD.
Third, current research of characteristics of ADHD focus on the clear identification for children with ADHD. Research for intervention are various, but use art therapy and social skills programs in more cases. They focus more on intervention for primary characteristics of children with ADHD. Besides, other research in numbers focus on development of assessment tools for classifying children with ADHD more clearly.
Some suggestions for further studies were given with more research articles through more search cites.
