Hi, baby Eric 🫶🏻
Having two days of waking up early caught up with me. That, and the fact that I was up until late yesterday. To be honest, I lost track of time.
When I came home from work, I did my evening routine, and then I decided to try using the clay for something else.
My sister loves piglets. When we were kids and stayed with our grandparents for the summer, she really liked taking care of the piglets. She had a favourite one and when he fell ill she wrapped him in a blanket and never left his sight. When he died, she took it hard. (I know you're supposed to refer to animals by using “it”, but for me, once I get emotionally involved I have no choice but to refer to them as I would to a person.) She couldn't have been more than 6 or 7 years old at the time. I think that was when she really started to like piglets. I know for a fact she would love to have one to look after, but the circumstances are not the best. So I decided to help her grow her piglet collection by modelling one out of clay.
I spent a good 2 hours working on the head, and it is still only half done. I expected it to be tough, but that went beyond my expectations. That, and I've never been good at drawing animals, which makes modelling an animal even more complicated.
At the moment, it doesn't look too bad, but not good either. So I am thinking of only sharing the final result with you. As it is now, both my friend and I thought of horror movies because of it ㅎㅎㅎ
I also tried making a rose, since I had more clay taken out and did not want to waste it. I will try to paint it in the evening, after work. This one, I can share with you.
How are you doing, baby Eric? You said on bubble you've been really busy, which is to be expected, but I do hope you are taking care of yourself. Eat well, and don't forget to take the supplements your mother sent you.
I have to go get ready for work.
Always remember, this Deobi loves you! 💛
