Heyyy
It’s Ryna with many many hobbies and I just scraped the 1st draft.
I wrote this letter yesterday morning, but because of what happened in the evening, it doesn’t seem relevant anymore. So, I’ll put it in a box.
Regarding your bubble yesterday (Wednesday), this is my convo with Gabbie after.
Aaaaaanyway
The heat is really heating. It’s extreme heat. We can’t stop talking about it. Have you noticed that usually when you’re coming to Thailand, before you did, Thai dubbies would be telling you about the food and what you should eat or places you should go to visit, but there’s barely any of that currently. Everyone’s just warning you guys about the heat.
Something is seriously wrong. At night, if you’re not in a room with a/c on, you’d feel the heat on your skin as if you’re sitting in the sun. It’s not as bad as during the day, of course, but it’s still so weird because it’s never been like this. Usually, it’s hot but it’s the hot that makes you sweat and that’s it, no heat lingering on the surface of your skin or anything like this. I feel like I’m being cooked. It’s scary.
Well, now you don’t have to deal with all of that.
I feel SO BAD for the people who planned on going, including you guys. I kept saying I’m not going, but I was actually trying to clear up my schedule and stuff in the hope that I could buy the ticket at the last minute and go. The option for that is gone. It’s totally fine for me. It’s disappointing, of course, because even if I end up not being able to go, I would still want you guys to come and want my friends to meet you guys. The whole thing was sketchy from the start, we had very little faith in the organizers since we’ve never heard of them before. People still bought tickets because they specifically wanted to see tbz and wanted tbz to see how many people are willing to wait for hours in the heat to see you and cheer you on. People here were concerned about y'all's safety when they found out the organizers were selling the after party thingy on Chinese websites and spoke out about it. It’s just sad that after going through all of that, they had to go through this too. It took me like 2 months to stop crying about that canceled event in January (and I’m a grown ass woman), I don’t know how the people who bought tickets to both events are going to recover. I feel sad for you too, having to miss another work. No more shitty organizers please. Your team needs to run a thorough background check on everyone asking to hire you. The both of us can’t fall victim to these people again.
People are so nice about it tho. They understand the situation and they try to see the positivity of it. They’re saying things, like, it’s for the best that you guys don’t have to come and perform in this extreme heat, or it’s for the best that you don’t have to work with this unorganized organizer anymore, or that we will see other again soon at zeneration2 in BKK. I admire people who have had an unfortunate event happen to them but are still trying to think and say nice things like this. The vip ticket is around 149k krw, mind you, and now they can’t even get a refund. I wouldn’t be strong enough to be positive about it.
Anyway, hope at least you guys get to rest or do something fun during these 3 days.
