Hi bub!! What a week it has been. How are you feeling? I hope you’ve able to clear your head with whatever has been on your mind lately. I know you don’t want to show us the sides of you that are more raw or feeling a type of way. I just hope you’re able to process it all the way you need to. I have no idea if that makes any sense but all that to say, i hope you’re kinder to yourself and just know you are supported and loved ♥️ You are the most important so please always put your needs first.
This week was a doozy. Monday ticketing was wild. I know I spoke about that before. I also just want to apologize if my letter came off like I wanted you to take action. That was not my intention at all and I’m so sorry if my words gave you any stress. I just wanted you to be aware of what was going with ticketing but I didn’t stop to think how it might have come across. Please know that I am SO excited to see you. I know that there isn’t much you can do about the ticketing situations happening in the US. I just wanted to be transparent with you, as a friend and a confidante. It’ll be a fun time regardless!! We will dance and sing together 🥹♥️
Wednesday I had a full day of team bonding. From 10am - 3pm, i was in a meeting room just watching people talk. The person I’m a manager of spilled coffee on my dress 🤦🏻♀️ bc she was on her phone not paying attention to the presentation. Luckily I wore a black dress. Then from 4pm - 6pm I was in a boba making workshop. I made a mill tea, jasmine lychee tea with coconut jelly and i made boba pearl from scratch which was a WORKOUT. Making the boba from scratch was so weird. They just gave us bowls with tapioca starch and the dough started. We had to knead it until it became a light brown. It took like 20-30 mins, everyone’s hands were so tired 😂 Then we had to roll the dough out into the small boba that fit in the straw. That took so long too. I sat with someone on my team that I spoke to a bit but not much since I joined the team. She is so lovely abd we had such a great time chatting. We decided to make plans to go into the office together so we can go to ktown for lunch hahah. She likes gimbap too!!
I got home around 10pm that night.. it was a lot of socializing that day 😅 I woke up on Thursday feeling like I ran a marathon for a week 😂 My right hand is still kinda sore from kneading that.
I barely took photos from that day hahahah but I have a few from the boba workshop.
Then, unrelated… these sourdough double chocolate muffins. I forgot to take photos of the finished bake so you only get a video this time. 🙇🏻♀️
Anyway, I hope you’re resting well. If you’re too in your head, idk if meditating helps but like maybe just a walk outside to clear your mind? Maybe an activity that’s mindless like putting together legos or puzzles? Idk but I hope that you let yourself feel and heal ♥️ Know you always have my support and love.
