Heyyyyyyyyey, child 💖
How u doin'?
As you can see I'm in a good mood today 🧜♀️
Actually I had a very stressful night and morning because of Karimchi and a Spanish class I have to prepare 🤠
Soooo, yesterday a tragedy happened (not that tragyc tho)… So, I got an order from a client (I've been getting so many orders this week idk why). So I was going to meet this girl today to give her her order so I made the Kimchis yesterday but when I was cleaning the chicoria (napa cabagge) I realized allllll the chicoria my provider sent me was full of plague so I almost cried cuz I had to get rid of it and I spent most of Karimchi’s budget on it 🥲
Also my bottle supplier told me she couldn't deliver my order until Tuesday (even tho I ordered it since last friday). So today I had to wake up early to get the chicoria and prepare the seasoning for the kimchi. All of it before going to work (9 am). While I was at work my mom and dad went to get the bottles so when I got home at 6 pm I had to hurry and season the Kimchi to send it to my client asap.
Spoiler alert, I made it and actually she just got her kimchi while I’m writing this lmao.
I had a very busy weekend so I couldnt write it before. It was my cousin's 31st birthday so we made a pool party and yesterday was my country's elections so I went to vote and then went for free stuff that some businesses were giving away for voting.
We got icecream, snacks, makeup, coffee, donuts, etc. It was very stressing too because we had to make a long line for every place, but I enjoyed it because I was with my friends.
Ofc I didn't vote because of the free stuff but because I'm an exemplary citizen (lmao).
I got informed regarding every candidate to make a good decision. Nowadays it’s so hard to believe in a political candidate, specially when my ex is a politician (laughs nervously*)...
Anyways...
Something I learned from today’s experience is that unexpected things will always happen along the way and we might lose money or force ourselves to make some sacrifices (like waking up very early and manage our time to make it all on time).
What makes you a good entrepreneur is knowing how to deal with those situations. Sometimes we can't even think about solutions, because we get overwhelmed by stress, but it's incredible how much you learn when things don't go as we expect it. We force ourselves to leave our comfort zone. Sometimes you have to go out and negotiate in order to save the business… You make calls and find all possible options… Fortunately in my case, I had my parents who helped me to go all the way for the bottles I ordered.
I think I already said it in last letters but without my parents I couldn't make it on time for the festivals.
From Karimchi I also learned to invest and forget about the fear of failure. I try to invest a lot more once in a while to force myself to leave my comfort zone and start promoting and publishing on social media, release new products, etc. in order to keep the small business active.
Even tho sometimes I have to invest most of Karimchi’s budget, I realized that I enjoy doing it, because it keeps me busy and I like to feel like I have something to spend my time with.
Speaking of things to do… My friend posted an announce on naver for Spanish classes, so now I got two korean students and those two students really made me go out of my confort zone cuz I've never been a teacher before, so I had to study and do lots of research to be able to adapt to the needs of each student. The first one is already advanced level so I was so scared because she is already an Spanish teacher at a University in South Korea, so she is very demanding. She wants to get C2 at DELE which is the maximum level of the lenguage (not even most of latinamerican people -including me- have that level).
The secod student is intermediate level and he wants to learn business vocabulary to use at his job so it is also a challange for me because I have to study it too and learn lots.
Thanks god I think I've been doing it very well.
Anyways, if you or anyone reading this is scared of starting something or doing something you want to try but are scared of how to start it or whether it is going to work or not, I give you a kind invitation to take that little step.
Nothing of what I've been doing may seem like not such a big thing but it is for me because I've learned loooots. So I'm really telling you, the hardest step is taking the desicion of actually doing it. Once you do it, trust me everything will flow. Nothing starts perfectly or continues that way, we always have challenges on the way. You will learn on the way and pefection it. I we are always scared of failure, as soon as something unexpected happens we are more likely to give up. But if you configurate your mindset as anything may happen, it will not take you by surprise and you will be able to face it not worrying that much.
Soooo, this is your signal to go for it. It's never too late to start something.
Probably I won't be a teacher in the future but at least I can say I tried it once so it works for me as a new experience and I can decide whether I like it or not, right?
I think it's the same for lots of cases, for example on music, you have to try lots of genders and styles until you find the one thats suits you the most and makes you feel confortable.
That's why I love to see you trying diferent stuff, specially when I can recognize what makes you feel more confortable. ❤️🩹
Whatever you are up to right now, please know you have my full support on it, okay?
¡Ánimo!
